This is such a beautiful example of what is the real TFP world - there are many set of arms there when people join and share with their posts. Pretty basic concept. A highend-functioning social reaction is the RL part of this forum.

hmm, this sounds like it would be fun. I can probably get off work for a few days and make the drive.. if you don't mind another random stranger I planned on driving up to Rochester anyways, so if there is a party I should be able to make it.

Thought I would post a bit more info.....as far as housing

easily room to sleep twenty (if floors are used)
Three bedrooms, couch/bed, lazyboy/enclosed porch w/ futon lots of seating
Large yard w/stone BBQ....and plenty of outdoor seating on deck/chairs

Planned events are the Poker tourney/ beach excursion / over 100DVDs and surround sound.....drinking like the fools we are, and eating like happy Campers. Music and Conversation. Feel free to bring any tunes you want as well.

Might even get a midnight Mexico game going.

Golf course across the street (only 9 holes), Bars within five minute walk, plenty of parking (can fit seven cars in my driveway).

Anyone else interested.....let us know, we want this thing to be BIG

This is the last weekend in July?

If so and you need a mad heretic I can be there.

I can also give a ride to anyone close (NE Ohio) or on the way, that may need one.

As for Hotels/Beds....Phil gets a bed....Monkie gets Mine....leaves at least three more. Dawg may need a hotel but thats because she likes to insult me....heh. (yes there are several around)....anyone else needs to fight me if you intend to stay in a hotel.

Dawg just cant take the temptation of all these guys in one house

If you are in Kingston it's probably just as fast to drive... take the 1000 islands bridge and cheaper...

You will have a 2 hour minimum drive to the dock in Toronto, then pay for a two hour ferry ride.

If you drive from Kingston it should take roughly the same amount of time (maybe a little longer but you a) won't have to drive to downtown Toronto or b) pay for the ferry

For me, the ferry docks are a five to eight minute drive from my house so I will likely take the ferry (if I go).

By the way, if anyone is planning on taking the ferry let me know... maybe we can go together.

For anyone taking the ferry....it is literally a ten minute walk to my house from the port (three minute drive), so as we get closer.....let me know about arrivals , as I will meet you at the ferry.
