I'm looking for examples of direct mailings (i.e., junk snail mail, or email specifically targeted to you) related to banks and credit card companies for a project that I'm doing.

Examples of things I'm interested in:

• Offers for credit cards
• Mailings promoting ID-Theft (not the phishing variety, but the ones offering genuine services)
• Offers for debit cards, rewards cards.... etc

i ordered "architectural digest" with my dog's name a few years back to observe the the selling of mailing information. my mailman always got a kick each month delievering architectural digest to OUR DOG! haha

anyway, my dog is now receiving a complimentary subscription to "VITALS MAN" magazine. a magazine the dog nor my husband or myself are in anyway interested in.
......

anyway, we receive numerous credit card snail mails, which i promptly shred.
CAPITAL ONE is the most agressive. grrrrrr BURN CAPITAL ONE.

i'm not sure i've rec'd anything promoting "identity theft". although, i never open any email from unknown senders. instead i click DELETE.

Weird..I just got this magazine in the mail last month also. Not sent to my dogs though. I wondered where it may have came from. The only good thing I found in there was a recipie for flour tortillas.
