John Z. DeLorean dead at 80
John DeLorean died yesterday. This came as a complete shock to me. I grew up absolutely in love with DeLoreans, hell Back to the Future was always my favorite trilogy...this really saddens me, he was an innovator in the auto industry.... article.. http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/03/21/del....ap/index.html

Rest in peace, John.
I was not paying attention to what was being said, but on TV yesterday I saw video of him walking and talking and wondered what it was all about ...now I guess it was file footage and they were reporting his death. He was definitely a business wheeler-dealer-innovator. |

One of the biggest drug dealers that got off easy, if I had anything to say about it...
He did make beautiful cars, though..

not many realize exactly how many cars Dellorean designed... the DMC was prolly ont of the least popular of his designs, the most popular was prolly the GTO... that man was the person most responsible for the muscle car era, and for that alone there is a VERY special place for him in heaven godspeed.

DeLorean was a lot like Tucker - Way ahead of his time. Genius sometimes this way comes....
