Choices choices, didn't know where to put it.
ok, this could go in Lifestyles, Gaming, General, Motors or other I guess, if a mod feels it needs to be somewhere, go ahead and move it as you please. That being said....
I am having a dilemma (pardon any spelling mistakes, its 2am, I just worked for 11 hours and im to lazy right now to do a spellcheck or even really think about hitting backspace.) My dilemma is this: I want a Playstation portable I want a Quad (atv) I want a Streetbike I cannot afford them all. Now the PSP would be around 500$ or so for all of the stuff, system, few games, extra battery etc. The Quad would be roughly 4,000$ for the Quad + safety gear + gas etc. Streetbike, more around 8-10,000$ for bike, safety gear, license certification, insurance. I want all of these, my girlfriend just got a quad and I'm super fugging addicted to it already, and because its hers, I cannot a) use it all the time whenever i want, b) use it with her because its only a 1 seater and its not safe to use 2 on lol. What does everyone think? I could get the PSP the day it comes out and have no financial issues with it at all. The other two on the other hand, would take a little bit of saving, but it could be done. (i dont want to get stuck w/ a 200$ /month payment for the next three years, i would rather pay for the majority of it right off the bat) Any opinions what so ever? Thanks for taking the time to read this random post. g'nite!

Old signature just wasn't doing it for me anymore, so now I have this new one. It's equally as stupid but at least it looks really long. I'm probably just going to keep typing until I run out of things to babble about and see how many people actually read this. I once ran down a hill, fell down and hurt my elbow; my mom said I would be ok, she kissed it and made it all better. I've run out of things to say now, so if you have read this whole thing, congratulations you get a gold star! |

Forget the Playstation, and get the bike. I've owned a Harley for 28 years and you'll get far more use out of it than a game. You'll get to meet some interesting people that you wouldn't meet sitting on the couch...

Hm, as a gamer my first instinct is "get the PSP, n00b." After I think about it, though, having a quad to ride with a girlfriend would be most excellent. They are way fun. The bike would be very cool, too, but if you don't have people to ride with it might be less fun.
A lot of it comes down to what kind of financial commitment you want to make, and where you see yourself if a few years. For example: will you still be living in a place you can use the quad? Or will you be in a city? Will you still want a PSP then? Good luck. These decisions suck. |

Even though they scare the hell out of me...get the bike.
Think about it. The PSP will be half the price in like a year or so and in three years you'll probably not even care you have it. The Quad while it is addicting how often will you be able to ride it? One the weekends maybe 3 times a month at most? A bike can be ridden anyday. Especially with summer coming up. Let's say it's sunny warm and 80 degrees on a Tuesday. Grabing your bike to cruise around town would be fun as hell. And if it's a sports bike I'd bet the addicting fun would soon be had on one of them as well. And all that fun likely will last longer as well. 10 years from now if you properly maintained the bike you'll still be having fun on it long after the PSP was ancient tech, and long after the ATV possibly will have lost it's fascination. |
