After 36 discs and numerous years of bronc-riding, Chris LeDoux passed on to the next world. I don't know if I fully believe in the next-world thing, but Chris had a voice that was truly one of a kind. He will be missed.

i had the opportunity to speak with him for a few moments a few years back, and he seemed to be exactly what he came across as....a cowboy with a great love for life. He was one of the kindest gentleman I have ever had the opportunity to meet. I'm glad I got to see him one last time when he played our county fair this summer, and the the kids got to see him with me.....It's a concert I'll never forget. RIP Chris, your contribution to the world will be greatly missed.
