Tilted Quotes - Identify?
Hi all,
I've been trying to find the author and correct text of the following quote: "It will take the astronauts to take us to the stars, but make sure to bring the poets to describe it to the rest of us." Possible source - Carl Sagan, "Contact"?? Does anyone know for sure or have any idea? Numerous google searches have turned up empty. I really like thatr quote, I think it's nice and would love to know the correct text and author. Thanks TFP! |

Hey thanks Retsuki03, I appreciate your efforts. [smiley face/]
That reminds me of the quote from Pulp Fiction - the one with Samuel Jackson going on about Ezekiel in the bible. I could not for the life of me find that quote in the book of Ezekiel. Anyways, it turns out it was a made up quote! They got me (LOL). Have you seen the movie Contact or do you know the quote I'm talking about? It's pretty cool actually. I think you'd like it.
