Name something you've recently accomplished that you never have before.
For me, it's getting straight A's in school.
I just started back in school in January for the first time since 1998, and I'm in the Medical Assistant program. It's a 9 month accelerated program, so every few weeks we have new classes. We just ended our first 3 classes, and we had our finals last Thursday. I got straight A's in all of them!! So my accomplishment is getting straight A's. I hope to continue this through the school year until I graduate in October. Hell, maybe I'll even be valedictorian!!

Way to go Sue! You know what, mine is exactly the same! I'm a senior in college and last semester I got a 4.0 for the first time EVER. I never even gotstraight A's in high school! I was pretty pumped, so I know how you feel
I GOT STRAIGHT A'S TOO!!! Aside from that, I had to get a new car, since my old one decided to die, I ended up getting a loan, with no co-signer. That was a first for me, evidently I've built SOME kind of credit, so that's great. I feel like such a grownup! hahaha So, that was my other first, getting a loan on my own for the first time! Yay for more debt! |

I'm managing to continue something that I started, mainly a "pencil and paper" RPG. Usually, I would just create an idea, work on it for a little bit but then suddenly stop and just dream about its possibilities. With such potential this could bring (and with 3 other people involved), I got the motivation to start the RPG's Manual.

I grew up and stepped into the land of adulthood... shedding my adolescent mindset about things and my teenaged frame of mind... thus fully getting over a terrible relationship that ended two years ago... and fully settling into being married to a wonderful, loving man... and finding out more about myself in the process than I ever thought possible! It was worth it tho!
CONGRATS ON THE GRADES, BOTH OF YOU!!!!

Good to hear all this stuff.
I just got accepted into the Banff Centre Jazz program in Alberta. I got rejected 2 years ago, so this is a big leap and even more satisfying than if I never applied before. It's a pretty big deal for me. I'll be studying for three weeks with some of the world's heaviest avant-garde jazz musicians. Everybody I've met who've been said it transformed what they thought of music.

I was able to free myself of all skeletons in my closet. I came clean with things that I have kept pent up inside for years and brought my shortcomings to light, so that I can finally change and become the person I desire to be.

Finished my master's degree. Changed my life.
Took a trip to Montreal... so beautiful it scared me. Started posting on TFP. The fact that my words are being read by others is healing.

I did a solo flight around the world without refueling...
Yeah! I wish! Seriously, i won a safety traffic system deal with my city's municipal government. I have invested a lot of time and effort in this project, i'm very proud about it.
