mature women on younger men

ok so we had the thread about what us younger men thought of older, more mature women. now how about the other way. what do you ladies think of us younger, more vibrant guys? both in bed, in relationships and just in general conversation?

I personally like older men, it's always been a fascination of mine. Not only for their maturity but they always have this distinguished look about them. There are some younger guys that has that older-man personality, I wouldn't mind dating those. I am pickey when it comes to men, but as long at they have that quality, whether older or younger, I'd consider. :-)

In bed? Sure, no problem! :D I'll admit I had a habit of ending up in bed with teenagers for a few years there but I've given it up. In relationships, I've been dating younger men since I was in the 2nd half of my 20s...except for my last boyfriend, who was 4 years older than me, but he was also anomalous in other ways. My current SO is 7 years younger than me or so, but I honestly don't notice the difference all that much. Mostly it means I can sing along to some older songs on the radio than he can, little things like that. By the time you're in your 30s you pretty have enough life experience (hopefully) to navigate your way through a relationship so it makes no difference to me. In general conversation it pretty much depends on the other person as to how willing or able they are to have a conversation with me - I have very little tolerance for boring conversation so if you want to say something interesting I don't care how old you are. If you have nothing much to say, I don't have time. I'm not an ageist, but overall as I've grown older I've found that the company of 19-year-olds isn't as desirable anymore, simply because the difference in experience makes it hard to relate so it's a bit of a strain.

I've done the younger guy thing... he was younger by about 8 years - he was fun but that was about it... I like maturity, laugh lines, gray hair, intelligence...

Younger guys may have stamina and a quicker recycle factor - but the older ones... get the job done right the first time...

Cool! We "grayhairs" have the "whipper snappers" beat by a two to one margin.

Yeah but the guys who are 28-35 have the best of both worlds. They can play the "older" man to the 19-25 crowd and still play the baby to the older 40-45 year old women. Hmmm I think I just made myself feel a bit better about turning 27.

MAL likes me---she really likes me...:D

Oohhh I just have to post on this one! :p

I'm a 28 yr old female and dating a 22 yr old guy. Yes... there's alittle over 7 yrs difference but when you put us together, there's really no age difference. He likes the same things I do but likes different stuff as well. He's introduced me to alot of the newer things in the world (like *gasp* Pink as well as The Cure) and has opened my eyes up to alot of things.

But, when you look at us, the age difference isn't there. It looks more like he's the older one of us. But, sadly, I still get the shocked look when people find out the true age. So many people don't believe women should be with younger men but it's quite alright for men to be with the younger women.

I'll just continue to be happy with the guy I've got regardless of age. Sex and everything is great and even the make ups when the arguing gets rolling! :icare:

I'm only 18 (going on 19 in a couple months), but I don't really like younger guys, I must admit. They seem even LESS mature. Yikes. Two out of the three guys I dated were older than me, and the third guy was the same age as me. nwlinkvxd is a year older than me as well.

Plus, have you seen how WEIRD some of the high school fads are these days?!

I'm not a woman, but I can see an advantage in sexual relations with younger women because they will hopefully be less experienced and therefore not as able to judge how truly bad I am. :D

Well...if I was 18 I'd probably be dating older men too. I started out with older guys (16/23). My first two long-term boyfriends were 7 years older than me. Then #3 was my same age. The next one was 20 to my 27. And so it goes... The thing is, I'm attracted to the energy and more of a raw edge younger guys have. That doesn't mean I wouldn't consider an older man, because of course it depends on the person. But overall I guess I'd have to say that part of it is, as someone who hasn't chosen to have kids and "settle down," I'm attracted to people who still have some of that youthful energy and lack of encumberments that tend to come with age.

Maybe you'll have to revisit this thread in like 10 years. Guys under 18 aren't worth the paper they're printed on (including when I was under 18) as far as relationships.
