Battle of the bitches

Here's an article that I found interesting, Britney and Paris fighting over whose dog looks better ...

"The unkind would call it the battle of the bitches - referring to the dogs, of course.

Britney Spears and Paris Hilton are now exchanging claw marks not over their fame, beauty or money - but about their pet chihuahuas.

Singer Britney says the hotel heiress's pet Tinkerbell looks like a dog's breakfast. Her own three pooches - Bit Bit, Lacy Loo and Lucky - are far better turned out, she claims.

'My dogs are stylin' and profilin',' the Toxic singer wrote on her website.

'Von Dutch just sent them the coolest little clothes. My dogs are so much cuter than Tinkerbell (ruff! ruff!).' The celebrities, both 23, are rarely seen without their pedigree chums.

And the dogs have been snapped in a variety of designer gear. Bit Bit wore a lavish diamond-studded collar to the Billboard Music Awards in December.

Tinkerbell and Ms Hilton, meanwhile, sported matching outfits on reality TV show, The Simple Life. The dog even inspired this month's Paris Hilton jewellery collection. 'A lot of people admire Tinkerbell's look,' she said. 'So I included a glamorous pet collar.' "

There was nothing else going on in the world of news that this rated a mention? Good heavens there was a Rose Bandit loose on the streets of New York City, that got no coverage at all. :D

theres just something seriously wrong with anyone who would dress up a chihuahua in designer gear.

And thus we watch....the collapse of civilization as we know it.

I've said it before folks: If we just ignore them they will go away, there only talent is their ability to hold your attention.

Ah, there are people dying in this world, starving and living homeless. And the best story that this man could produce is something about two celebrities and their egos.

But the damned thing is they will be replaced with something of even lesser human value. Modern entertainment is hurting in a big way for anyone of lasting talents and abilities. Even those who didn't think of much of this years Superbowl half time show would be hard pressed to name one current musical personality that would be able to be in demand for such an engagement in fourty years.

Does anyone really wonder why I feel nothing but contempt for spoiled brats like these or why I studiously ignore their antics?

What wastes of oxygen and protoplasm.

JumpinJesus 02-15-2005 06:23 PM

I want to expend some energy contemptuously commenting about these two because they are certainly worthy of derision, but I find that I don't care enough about what happens to either of them to attempt it.

I don't wish them any harm. Christ, could you imagine the status to which they would ascend if they met untimely deaths? The best I can hope for is that they quietly go away, their careers sputtering until dead.

I hope their dogs find good homes, too.
