My Kidney
 

I'm currently operating on 3/4ths of a kidney, Im a male, 19, I have never had problems because of it, just initaly during birth. Now i've never drank much alcohol that is, but i'm enjoying it more and more as i try it more and more. So I'm wondering what you think my almost one kidney will bode for me if i am drinking, and if i should take extra care to really control my drinking.

Well... watch out man. Don't get real drunk it just doesn't sound like a good idea.
I think you should talk to a doctor, find out the real risks.
Tell him "I know I shouldn't drink at all, but please tell me how much or what can happen."

I think you know the answer to your question already. You ask in hopes that people will tell you something other than what you know is true. Sure, the answer sucks. You shouldn't drink as much as you'd like.

I knew a guy with decreased kidney capacity. He was my age. He got drunk easily. By the time I had graduated from college, he was dead. I honestly don't KNOW if it was kidney failure that did him in, but I believe it to be the case.

Oh now I'm not a big drinker by any means, In factif I had to just stay off alcohol my whole life I wouldnt be crushed, but my girlfriend broke up with me and I just felt as if I should be smahsed this weekend, lol and i ask as mostly a bit of a joke
