Come on, all your friends are doing it.

I just did. If you can, I ask that you do as well. You know you love the place, keep it running.

I have recently donated as well (finally!), and intend to send more whenever I can. I don't contribute a lot regularly, but I check in sporadically to view the art, writing and photography threads (and boobies). The creativity displayed inspires me.
I thought about some of the lame things I spend money on, and realized this was a lot more worthwhile.

Personally, that's not what I came for and that's not why I came back after a year and a half away. It's also not why I stay.

I come for the people. I come for the open affection I get from many other TFPers, for the opinions, for the advice. I come for the "ladies in arms" feeling I get from the LL, the opportunity to offer my expertise in Sexuality. But really, I stay because of the people--because of Halx, sweetpea, Charlatan, Gilda, kramus, Shanifaye, K-Wise, tecoyah, abaya, amonkie, Lebell, sexymama, ngdawg, ratbastid, lurkette, TOK, Squishor, Sage...I could go on and on and on with my list as to why I come here (and if I missed you I sincerely apologize).

And THAT is why I donated.
Thanks!

I know sweetpea is the one who's running the donation kissing booth, but since you mentioned me . . .

onesnowyowl Gilda

That was fun. I wonder if there's any room in that kissing booth . . .

I thought I saw a snail mail address to send donations to. I don't post here much and don't use paypal, but this place is interesting and I'm happy to send a few bucks. Any idea where that address went?

Try the announcements in the General Discussion forum.
Your donation is well appreciated I'm sure. (I recently donated as well)

You should participate though: it's at least double the fun!

Btw, here's the direct link to the announcement: LINK

$20 was all we could handle right now too. May have been too much. And that was for _two_ members; a household donation. Hubby got a donor tag. Can I have a donor thingy too or does it have to wait until I'm no longer a rookie? Seriously, though, I'll send along a (small) portion of my next paycheck from the agency for foster care. Having an outlet where I can communicate with other ADULTS, hence staying sane, is certainly beneficial for the kids I keep.

How long does it normally take to get a 'donor' tag? I know that Halx is busy, and the last thing I want is to rush anyone. I'm just curious, that's all. This site is stupendus.

Oh, and I'll be sending more soon.
