And no. This wasn't about looks. I was intrested in the social stigma and stereotypes and do people think they can look past it and see a person.

A lot of people seem to know strippers and those do are saying a bit more than average that they could consider dating one. Maybe speculating with this is too abstract if you don't know anybody who's in these "careers" or just reply "no, no, no" without thinkg anything.

The reason for me is that I am a jelous type. Knowing that she is screwing other people woudl drive me nuts. As for a stripper maybe because I dont know if I could handle haveing many others staring at her naked. But who really knows until the situation arisis.

It would all depend on the woman and who she is rather than what she has done.

The real question is would you marry a woman who continued to be a pornstar, stripper or prostitute.

I don't think that I would have a problem as long as I knew that it was just business to them.

Since you responded so nicely to my comments and shamed me for not answering the questions, I feel obligated to speculate.

First of all, I am not going to say an automatic "NO" to any of them. Any relationship, whether dating or marriage, is based on mutual attraction, mutual interests, and trust.

I would have some problems with "sharing" someone I care about, but the question then becomes one of how important the relationship is to me. If the relationship is important enough to commit myself to that person, we will find a way to work it out.

The issue of STDs and the potential of problem "fans" is another level of concern. Assuming that our relationship is based on the criteria I outlined, then we can work out those issues out too.

To me the question goes beyond the moral dilemma that those professions cause. The question is whether you are willing to see the person instead of the profession. I think that I am open-minded enough to do that.

But this is all speculation. I am not likely to meet anyone who is in any of these professions and I know that my wife is not willing to share me. :)

Depends on the person and what I know about them. I guess the main opstacle would be the fact that I believe that most of them would be "damaged goods." Sex is an intimate thing between 2 people and the first 2 have downgraded it to a business. How could you be intimate with someone during sex when she's mentally thinking "moan now, shudder, flip over onto belly, etc.?" It'd would take the joy outta the act. The stripper doesn't have this problem literally, but I'm more of a "spirit of the law" rather than "letter of the law" (which is very odd in today's society). While she doesn't actually have sex, she is enticing it. Overall, I'm leaning towards a "no." In general, I don't believe these 3 would be good mothers/wives (the whole point of marriage to me. Marriage is NOT about having a free harlot or servant, which a lot of guys forget). However, again, it all comes down to the actual person.

No to the first two, most definitely. The third would be an extremely tough choice...I'd have to be so completely head-over-heels in love that it just not phase me that she is a stripper. The answer after some experience with it (stripper/prostitute anyway) is no, no and no.

I have dated strippers and some were just messed up mentally. Some were in okay shape mentally, but there is just something about the way it affects their outlook on men that makes it too difficult.

I dated a prostitute twice. I actually used prostitutes while in grad school at college. I was buried in a labloratory with no real chance at a relationship for a few months due to my work load. I met one girl through a service that really didn't belong there. She was doing it for extra money but just didn't have the mentality. We liked each other, but she wouldn't date a customer (good idea). She only lasted about 2 weeks before she gave it up. We ran into each other a few weeks after that at a club, and we ended up going out a few times. There is just something about sleeping with someone for money and then trying to date them that just doesn't work, and we went our separate ways.
