Sometimes I wonder if I were in his situation if I would be a terrorist too. I think it would be easy to imagine that most of us would also hate the US if we were in a middle-eastern country.

I would say its a tragedy. Im sure the Taxi driver acted responsibly but I still do want to shoot people. I can't imagine anyone looking for the chance to accidently wound someone.

I was thinking the same! Even from a distance I'm sure that it would be obvious that it was a mask. Although it was a bit of a stupid joke that backfired on him (no pun intended).

I hate to say it, but he deserved it. You've got to be one sick fuck to pull a stunt like that. Jumping behind someone and shouting something is a practical joke. Removing the Toilet seat while leaving the lid is a practical joke. Repeating a common suspensful noise from a Thriller to your friend across a crank phone call is a practical joke. But dressing up and even more importantly carrying something that looks like a real gun with the intent to scare someone is just plain stupid. I'm willing to bet he would have gotton shot even it he wasn't wearing that mask.

I wonder what he expected....for people to laugh and roll on the ground? He's fortunate he only got gut shot. Most would have put him down for good!

WTF does this have to do with the mask? The guy jumped into traffic carrying a pellet gun with the intent to scare motorists. The fact that he was wearing the OBL mask, to me, makes no difference at all. If you point a realistic looking gun at me, you are getting dropped... no matter what the hell you're wearing.

And that is likely why he got a couple of bullets to take with him. The Bin Laden mask didn't have any more to do with this than the cost of admission to the Juarez donkey show. But if anything these days makes the news, and Bin Laden can be mentioned with it...
