I started this thread back in V.3 & since this is my 250th

post I decided to start it again.
I love TFP Its fucking wonderfull. Its informative, Fascinating(sp?) , challenging, arousing

& never booring. Theres a certain level of respect here thats hard to find on the net.
I check here before I do my mail.
So my Q to you is whats the best thing about TFP?
THank you very much to the mods for thier hard work.

well, its free, everyone is connected and its more of a community than a message board. Also, there is just so much variety and so many things to do.

Strong rules
No flaming
No spam, no spam, and no spam
The Links Board

It seems that there are just enough interesting, evolving topics to participate in.

I also like the simple format - its easy on the old computer, and the site stays relatively fast.

Oh wow what a question. You can't put it down to just one "best" thing as there are too many. It's a community, a family in a sence. We are lucky to have the best mods and a wonderful mix of intelligence (there are some huge brains on this site), wit, humor, compassion, talent, honesty and of course, silliness. When I was first introduced to this site I was thinking "Oh ya, sure sure it's more than just naked chicks..." and I'm glad to say now that I was wrong. It is so much more and I for one am very thankful I have this place to come to everyday to get a laugh and a good read and a bit of fun.
Here's to a long and happy TFP!

I like the diversity of topics and people on the site. Seems like there is something for everyone.. and I mean more than boobies

Also, I'd have to say I like the format and rules of the site. It helps keep the conversations on point and really makes you think before you reply. The topics are usually researched in-depth and it's a great way to talk to people and see different point of views.

Just go to practically any other popular forum on the internet and the answer to the question of what's so great about the TFP will be self evident (there are a few forums that are exceptions, but not many)

Are there any other forums similar to this? This is the first one I've been in and probably don't appreciate it as much as some others who have been in other "lesser" forums.

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but if anyone knows of other forums it might be interesting (to me, at least) to see just how good we have it here by checking out the others, if they, in fact, exist.

No brick-brained AOL-using fools trying to sound like they have more than a 3rd grade education; this is a big bunch of intelligent people- that's a real rarity anywhere today; it's almost unheard of on the internet. It seems like the internet is an idiocy magnet. That's NOT true of TFP.
