Any Nat. Geographic readers out there? I need your help.

Do you read national geographic?

Have you for several years?

I need you!!!

:\ I'm looking for a cover, this is a very special cover to me. It's got a kid jumping from one pole to another in an ocean somewhere, with a sunset behind him. It's very beautiful, and I believe it was taken here -

So see those poles? I'm pretty sure the kid was jumping between those poles towards the bottom right.

I'm very curious to see if this photo was indeed taken there, because I spent 4 days in and around that area quite a long time ago, and I sparked some serious nostalgia :P

If you can scan the cover, or at least just tell me if it was taken there, or just show me the image anyway you can, that'd be awesome. Thanks :)

That's all I can find with a quick look, but it's from June 1993 so I bet you can use that for a better search.

I found it here http://fredstultz.home.comcast.net/geographics.html

Here's another one:

I adore that magazine. NG never ever fails to amuse and stimulate me.

I love reading the really old issues when the world wasn't completely explored. My school has every edition ever printed, going back to before WW1. Amazing to read some of the stories..

They started in 1888.

I got rid of most of my NGs a few months ago. It was painful, as I'd been a subscriber for over 20 years, and had 'zines dating back to 1920, but I wasn't reading them. So enough.
