Mens Cologne
I'm thinking of buying some. What do you guys/gals like? Does your girlfriend like it? Name some names, thanks.
|
Hugo Boss....wife loves the stuff
|
Search, there's a thread in Sexuality and one in ladies lounge about this very thing ( you cannot post in the LL, but you can view it).
|
I used to wear lots of cologne, but then the girl i was dating had a good nose and thought it to be overpowering so I stopped.
why don't you go shopping with a lady friend and have her be your nose? |
Acqua de Gio is the way to go. Not overly-powerful so wont offend, and smells very good.
The old one that everyone loved was Curve. I wouldnt suggest that one because every single girl has an ex who used to wear it, and you dont want her thinking of him when she's with you. |

I know lots of girls who think Hugo Boss is the best! I personally stick with good ol' pheromones, but if I did break down and buy cologne it'd be that or coolwater, or I'd go shopping with a lady friend.

Drakkar(sp?) That's what the wife likes, so that's what I use. Just one spritz though.
|
one word.... Realm
im in heaven everytime Dave wears it |
My 3 faves are
Cool Water Mambo Reserve All 3 a those smell dope. Not too expensive either. I've been complimented wearing each of those more times than once. I know a lot of girls who like Curve as well Asta!! |
Does the pheromone stuff work?

Mexx.

curve, its cheap and its good.
|
If you have the money:
Aqua Di Gio. Its the best. Period. Ranked best for years running etc. Buy it, you'll love it. |
One downfall to ^ that...
You might smell like her ex. In that case, i recommend Ralph Lauren Romance. |
Tommy.
The chicks seem to dig it ;) heheh |
I continue to use Brut years after it was pitched by Joe Namath back in the day. Comes highly recommended and as it is not so common today, it's a fairly unique experience.
|
What's wrong with a shower? Nothing like the shower fresh scent - y'all don't need colognes... Really... Just take a shower and wash your hair -- now that's yummy.

I have several favs:
Issey Miyaki Jean Paul Gottier Chrome Pie (seen as the symbol for pie) Obsession These are NOT masking agents, so do take a shower first! |

It does on me....I know the first guy I ever smelled it on, it drove me so totally nuts I went and bought a bottle of my own and used to spray it on my pillows at nite....now anytime Dave wants to be extra specially teasing he puts it on before he comes home from work I can smell it the minute he walks in the door |
some girls go insane for victoria secrets mens colonge(cant remember the name)
i dont care for it myself. |
I'ma total cologne whore :-D lol Kinda an obsession if you will :P I just bought 3 the other day
Aqua Di Gio <--- never had so many compliments on any cologne Curve and if you guys happen to have a Hollister store around anywhere I would totally recommend it. :) |
Farenheight - The women go crazy for this one, great scent and good for most occasions.
Ck One - It's got a nice light scent that reminds you of summer. CK Eternity - Just a good scent but too much can be really bad. CK Obsession - is good but it's not the scent for a younger guy. |

Manic has it right. I use CK One and I have gotten a lot of "What are you wearing, you smell nice" comments from women. |
Nothing better, especially in the summer, than Avon Island Lime. I don't believe they make it anymore, but can find it still in the bottle sometimes, at those places that sell the bottles to collectors.
|
Armani Mania <3
|
I wear Very Sexy for Men by Victoria's Secret..
|
Aqua Vela the after shave moisturizing Gel:thumbsup:
GF loves it:D |
Chrome
It's not too common so there aren't a ton of people that smell like you, and I get compliments all the time, not just from my GFs but from female co-workers and people I meet when I'm out. Chrome gets 2 thumbs up from me... |

After reading these threads lately I went on a hunt this morning for some cologne (my current deoderant is all I use and smells like talcum/baby powder, and I'm often embarrasingly aware of it).
After finding the cheapest cologne was $59 (Australian) for 'Nomad' (which I'd never heard mentioned here), I decided to see what was in the cheaper range. So I went out and bought a $6 bottle of cheap cologne (the box says "Our alternative to Hugo Boss Aqua"). With all the mention of 'Aqua Di Gio' I thought it might be the same one, but I don't think it is. Anyway, I wore it tonight and far from being complimented, the friends I was with all constantly thought they smelled onions. I'm not kidding. My $6 cologne smells like onions. At least I only wasted $6, and I know now what not to buy from now on. |

I'm a straight shooter, no 2 GF's at the same time for me. I don't have that kind of time!! ;) |
Where do you shop for this type of stuff? I would say the mall at like dillards but I'd imagine it can be found elsewhere for cheaper.
