Pass the tequila or something.

Have you ever had real beer?

Hint: If it's advertised on TV, its not real And yeah, that stuff does taste horrible.

To bad them missed most of the Canadian beers

Molson Canadian is by far the best!

Miller Genuine Draft... Rating:

Higher alcohol % gives it a half bonus point. Nuthin' special, and nuthin' overly offensive about it.

Not bad for American beer

Moosehead... Rating:

Nuthin spectacular about this Canadian beer. Cool Moose logo on the label I guess. Not offensive, but nuthin' to make you do backflips for either.

The green stuff is better then the brown

LaBatt's Blue... Rating:

I went into the local likker store to get a quart of Tecate, or something else that would wash down the big fucken burrito I just bought at Pepe's. I couldn't find the fat bottles, but I did see some 40's and some oil cans; yer basic shit; Foster's and Ole E. The blue cans with the maple leaf caught my eye and I rolled one up for $2. Not too shabby... cooled me down, and went well with the burrito. Says alot for Canadian-Mexican relations.

Not the best beer it give you the shits sometimes

ive never gotten the notion that mgd has high alcohol % in it.
To me it just tastes like how i would imagine moldy water. Thats not to say i still dont drink it on ocasion but its by far not even good for an american beer.

I had Fat Tire for the first time when I was in Vegas last month. I had heard so much hype over it that I was braced to be seriously underwhelmed, but, if anything, the hype was understated. That is the single best American Amber ale. I have never had another that was even close to that good, and I have had some damn fine Amber Ales. Still, I have had a grand total of a six pack of it and it can't be found this far east, so calling it a favorite would just be torturing myself. And yes, that is a beer that is better than anything I can make.

Budweiser Budvar is sold in the US under the name Czechvar. Pick up a six. At the very least, it's as good or better than Pilsner Urquell. At most, it is the thing you were looking for.

My favorites are Bass Ale and Harp Lager, usually Bass. Both have a pretty full taste. For domestic, Sam Adams is pretty good. I try to stay away from Bud and other watery beers unless I'm offered and feel the need to be polite.

Quality: Killian's Red or New Glarus Spotted Cow.

Quantity: Bud Light

Spotted Cow is made here locally in Wisconsin. Even made it into the July 04 issue of Maxim (p. 121) if you'd like to check it out. It's unique in the fact that they don't filter out the yeast, which gives it a cloudy look.

I bought a six pack of Heinekken this weekend.

Worse beer I've ever tasted. Brought back memories of those skunky beer commercials. I mean if I ever wanted to know what skunk piss tasted like, surely that would have to be it. It was all I could do to finish that one beer.

Damn, where should I start:

I really enjoy a good Chimay, but all the Belgiums are good right now. My friend (who perfers darkest, most flavorful beer to be found claims that Nastradamus is better than Chimay).

I had a Maudite the other night; tasty stuff, too.

My wife and I prefer to sit around and drink Fat Tire for a regular beer. When I feel like a dark, I go with Guinness and Bass (Black & Tan).

I rarely drink any domestics that aren't microbrews anymore.

There is a local brewery here in Atlanta that makes Red Brick Ale. Damn good beer, none of that watered down crap. The guy who started the company used to work for Guiness and has forgotten more about beer than I'll ever know.

Back in the days when I could drink beer...it was Bud. Now and then would spring for my absolute favorite Tecate , but expensive, and hard to find in the midwest.

From the Tecate homepage... "Tecate is lord..... Tecate is my fightin' beer. It ranks 2nd to only Widmer Heff. It is sharp and tasty. If you like beer, you like tecate, try it with 11 more tecates!!!"
