Favorite mixed drink?
 

Just wondering what you're favorite mixed drink at the moment is?

Should it burn going down?
Sweet & smooth?
Mean & sour?

I've just discovered the 'Mojito': rum, mint leaves, seltzer, sugar...not bad

Chocolate syrup and milk, and it burns going down.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. ;)

Oh man. I remember mixing tons of Mojitas... There's even a few resturants called "Mojito" here in Seattle.

But I would have to say, I like my drinks sweet and smooth. I have a few recipies of my own design, top secret, sweet and smoooth.

rarely do i have a mixed drink, but when i do it's an uber strong margarita on the rocks.

double shot of tequila
shot of triple sec
shot of cointreau
and just the tiniest tiny splash of that sickening sweet 'sweet-n'sour' mix, no mas por favor.

mostly, i am just a beer or wine consumer.

Irish car bomb :) altho it's a chug-it kinda drink

1/2 can guiness
1/2 shot whiskey
1/2 shot baileys

Drop shot glass in, and chug it down

I generally don't do mized drinks, except for jager bombs... but i do enjoy one called a blue kamikaze... it's sweet, a LITTLE sour, but tasty as all hell and fucks you up.

some redbull, some 7up or Mt. Dew + a little bit of whiskey + ice = yum

I think Triple Sec is the same as Cointreau...

I gave up mixers for lent (except ice) and now drink straight booze. Although I do like the occasional whiskey sour.

I don't know if it has a name but mix together in a blender two cups ice, two cups fresh watermellon and one cup strawberries. Add a bit of sugar and splash in a dose of lime or lemon juice then add your rum or vodka.

um no way, jose. 2 entirely different birds.
cointreau has this lovely little orange scent/taste.
triple sec smells like glue.

Margarita on the rocks @ La Burrita in Grants Pass Oregon USA. They are the best margarita's I've ever had, and they mix them very strong.

A good Scotch and a single ice cube.

Aren't you supposed to throw out milk after it spoils?...:)

I very rarely consume mixed drinks - but when I do, I love a good margarita. My blend:

- Patron Anejo
- Cointreau
- fresh lime juice
- a bit of sugar
- shaken with ice, then poured straight
- toppped off with a Grand Marnier float

For me, the old fashioned, smooth and spicy Bloody Mary sometimes really does the trick!

Vodka 1 1/2 oz.
Lemon Juice 1 dash
Tomato Juice 3 oz.
Lime 1 wedge
Tabasco Sauce 2 or 3 drops
Worcestershire Sauce 1/2 tsp.

(serves as a quick lunch also...)

Slushie/frozen madori sour (that is a mixed drink isn't it lol)

Ketal One + ice = A really drunk King


I'm a huge fan of vodka and all the horrid things it does to me. Mainly I just drink Ketal one on the rock with a little olive juice. But I've been know to drink it any way I can get it.

My favorite mixed drink is actually a shot:

Fuzzy Gator
1/3 Midori
1/3 Peach Schnapps
1/3 Orange Juice

Tastes incredible. When you are doing shots with people who don't like Jager, etc., recommend this.

That actually doesn't sound too bad. I like tequila but I usually don't do mixed drinks.

Hmmm... isn't anejo a little too smooth for a marg?

When I'm out defiling myself, I usually stick to Jagerbombs, Viagras, Incredible Hulk shots, and good 'ol Miller Lite. That Fuzzy Gator mentioned above does sound pretty good, though.

Apple pucker and 7up....I just love it...

#1 Slow Gin Fizz. I hate when they mix it with lots of soda water. I love plenty of slow gin - it's a mind enough flavor as it is that too much soda water and I might as well be drinking water. Besides they're usually expensive enough that I don't want to pay $5 for water - that's stupid. I think they taste and burn like Cherry Nyquil just a little bit.

Blue Hawaian - I forget what goes into it. - Sweet

when im with the ladies its:
French Martini - Absolut Vodka – 1.25 ounces
Chambord – 0.5 ounces
Fresh Pineapple Juice – 1 ounce

when im with the guys its:
Jack n Coke

I'm a fan of Vodka Tonics, but I usually take my booze straight.

i'm going to have to go with the white russian as far as mixed drinks go (heavy on the vodka) but more often than not i'm more for beer or shots

No! It's fabulous. Shake, strain and serve straight up - then sip slowly.

I'm a big fan of the non-alcoholic pre-mixed fruit drinks, like strawberry-banana or cran-grape. Add to crushed ice and it's perfect.

The following is guarunteed to fuck you up very badly, very quicky:

Red Bull
Gatorade (flavor of your choice)
Vodka

I would recommend NOT drinking this. Ever.

Bourbon n Coke (and ice i suppose)

If made correctly a Long Island Iced Tea can be quite the drink.

Two old but good standbys, guaranteed to get the job done:

1. Vodka and Orange Juice

2. Generic PJ: Diesel, sugar, kool-aid packets (best made in quantities of several gallons at the very least, if made right tastes exactly like kool aid but still stronger than anyone realizes)

Bottle of Jack + 2 liter of coke = recipe for endless fun (not to mention vomiting)

Hell yea! A good long island is absolutely delicious. Two good long islands and you're gonna need a ride home. Three good long islands and you might need to be carried home 8).

My favorite drink but you have to be ready for it. If I can't get a long island I'll take a whiskey and sprite.

Well, unfortunatley, I have not been able to partake in the mixed drinks yet- but two weeks!

I know what I want to try, though.

I really don't like the drinks where you can really taste the alcohol, so I will probably stick with the sweet, smooth drinks (in two weeks).
