Yes.

Your brain is rebeling against the lack of oxygen that you are giving it. Take it from a smoker...if you are still getting lightheaded, it's not too late to knock that crap off. Do it. God, I hate sounding like a PSA. Yeesh.

The reason your blood can't carry as much oxygen is because it's carrying carbon monoxide in its place.

Take BOR's advice - I enjoyed smoking for 5 years, and then spent the next 20 trying to quit. Quit now while it's easy.

Agreed -- from one smoker to another -- quit that shit out before it becomes a habit.

serious....that's the best advice you will probably ever hear. Don't succumb to the peer pressure because you think it is cool to smoke. It's not. Quit while you still have a full set of healthy lungs.

If you still can easily, I'd suggest doing it now. Its tempting to smoke when you drink .. but endure the hour of pain of wanting one, rather than the rest of your life.

And remember, cigarettes are expensive, unhealthy .. and unbecoming!

Yeah. That was my point, as well. If you're still getting lightheaded, then I doubt that you are addicted yet. Trust me, it's not something you want to be. Stop now before you do become addicted. I've been smoking for 23 years. It's long since ceased to be "fun".

Smoke more. It isn't as addictive as people are telling you, they just don't have your willpower.

And it makes you cool and fit in with your friends. They won't like you if you don't smoke: they will think you are wierd and stuck up.

You'll get fat if you don't smoke. And none of the cute girls will go out with you.

So, keep smoking.

This message brought to you by benson and hedges quality brand cigarettes. Smoke B&H and be cool like a movie star!

Its all in the mind man. I smoked for 6 years and quit cold turkey without a problem. Six years isnt much, but its still enough to get "addicted". I think people who say they are addicted are just using an excuse to keep smoking.

15 year smoker - month and a half without one (well...sober smoke). There are a million and one reasons to not smoke, most realized after not smoking. Quitting is a bitch, guaranteed if you start now a significant portion of your life will be spent regretting it, and the other portion trying to stop. Every second of every day (at least for me) revolved around when i was gonna have my next smoke. Didn't go to movie theaters because i couldn't go 2 hours without one.

Trust the smokers, drop them bad boys NOW.

While i aint been a smoker, i still say quit man, a few freind of mine started smoking back in high school, and the amount of dosh they they have spent in the past 5-6 years adds up to an awful lot. Do the math yaself and see how much you are paying a company to slowly kill you.

----and if you don't stop, in a few years you will not be able to take a deep breath without coughing your head off...

Smoked for 34 years, and then it finally dawned on me that I was addicted...quit cold turkey....was off of them for 20 years when I started to get dizzy again...I now have what looks like a zipper down the center of my chest and 3 navels..the aftermath of a triple bypass......and you will talk to your God just before it happens..VG

STOP! STOP NOW!

Paying for the habit after 30 years is not fun. I smoked for 30 years and I agree with viejo. I've had coughing fits so bad I talked with my maker. My finger tips used to be yellow. My car and my house smelled like a pit from hell. I couldn't do much of anything physical near the end of my addiction. I also quit cold turkey and it was worth the trouble.

Don't wait for the zipper scar, stop now!

I was starting to smoke at 16. One day I was driving with my girlfriend and smoked so much I got light-headed. She told me to walk around the car until I felt better. Later on she admitted this was not a cure, she just wanted to get me out of the car so she wouldn't have to hear me complain about being light-headed.

In theory, I suggest that you stop smoking.....

The sociopathic bastard part of my reccomends you keep smoking. I do ultrasound on arteries for a living, and smokers put food on my table.

puff all day and all night. hell, if you want, smoke 4 packs a day! you never know what's gonna happen...you could get run over by a bus tomorrow, or your house could get hit by a bolt of lightening killing you dead. while you're at it, scarf down as many big mac's and super size fries as you can, cause they are TASTY!!

ok really you shouldn't smoke, but I can't believe no one played this angle yet hehehhehe. I quit on 05/17 after smoking about a pack a day for 15 years. I'm gonna continue with it, but damn sometimes I still wanna suck down one of them cancer sticks.
