I certainly hope she won't be all right. This woman should never have the right to see her kid or even be around any other kids. |

Well, that poor kid is going to need a lot of therapy in his life, if he even gets that far.

Maybe it's the enormous amount of mass media slapping you in the face 24 hours a day, but it seems like more and more of this kind of shit (depraved inhumanity) goes on then when I was growing up.
Sad

I wouldn't be surprised at all if she got the kids back. Of course if her sister is already his legal guardian then that might change things. I used to care for children in a day care mostly filled by social services kids. It was sad for most of them but the worst was a little boy and his older and younger sisters that spent every weekend with their bio mom. The oldest girl would come in Mon morning and retreat in a ball in her cubby for the whole morning. The little boy had to wear prothesis from his knees down. He'd lost his lower legs and feet. GET Why! His bio mom (who had custody of him every weekend) had gotten angry at him. Shoved him down on the ground and mowen over his legs with a lawn mower. It's sad how these kids are forced to see their parents again and again and we know the mother's emotionally abuse them. It gets me so burned. While I was able to care for these children I gave them all the love I could but I feel it was such a small thing considering all they went through every day because of this woman's anger and selfishness.

Better send the deputy back to the range for practice - he should respect gun control better than to miss hitting something important.
If you saw the video the kid didn't appear to be upset at all while the mother was pointing the gun at his head - he didn't appear to be crying or scared until after the shooting when the deputy carried him off.

Wow! That's disturbing. I worked with a kid whose dad killed his mom and his younger sister. He came home from school and found their bodies. His dad would call him every once in a while from prison to say hello. Some people should not be parents.

I don't know why the Deputy didn't use leathal force. If he was going to shoot her he might as well have finished the job. This kid is going to be screwed up now for the rest of his life. Not just for being in moms arms when she got shot, but because mom pointed a gun at him. This kid is going to think its ok to do since mom did it to him. Now he going to have to visit her too!!! Why? Because she'll insist and the DCFS will let the kid see her for his sake! What a joke! If the cop would have finished it it would be better for the kid in the long run. I'd rather see her dead than have to tell the kid, "Your mom loved you so much, she risked your life to try and get away by pointing a gun at your head. Yes she was willing to kill you to get away. Your mom loved you that much."

It pains me to see kids that have to go back to parents that really cant/dont take care of them. My mom used to own a day care and you could see when a kid spent the previous day with the bad parent they would come in and cry all morning or be trouble makers, and when they stayed with the good parent they were angels. I just want to bitch slap some of these parents. I think no matter the kids age he should be able to decide who he visits, when, and for how long. Although that has nothing to do with this nutjob of a woman, If she wasnt already in jail I can only imagine what kind of screwed up parent she'd be.
