efax
Anyone use this? Is it any good?
www.efax.com When I move my office, I don't want to invest in a dedicated fax line, since I do about 20 pages of faxing a month, and I probably get 10 pages sent to me. Besides efax, are there other alternatives?

I have an efax account that I use as a backup or when I'm traveling. The problem w/ efax is that you have to pay a monthly fee to get a local telephone number, so you're not saving that much. I have one extra line that I use for both my computer and fax line, which works well for me and only costs me an extra $40 month.

We used something like this a few years ago when we were trying to get resumes to replace our office manager without telling her she was thru quite yet. It can be a hassle for routine work or large volumes, but for the rare fax (or if you don't need a hard copy) it can be useful.
