Ray sung America the Beautiful at the 2001 World Series in Phoenix and he gave my wife and I both goosebumps. It was a crazy thing because she asked me about it later and I was thinking the same thing. It is one of those moments that you know that you have a really special performer. We won't forget that.

Hey - can we turn this thread into a bunch of flames about how much we hate Ray Charles or how we don't agree with his musical style or hairstyle or whatever we did not like about him? I think that would be more productive.
