i guess i mean specifically hardcore more than just erotic. Black and white still photography of actual sex between a man and woman. Like shots framed artistically but with cock sucking, pussy eating, full penetration, cum shots, that kind of shit. Close ups of cock and puss but framed differently than typical prono. Same content as XXX with more attention to space and lighting.

When I was in college, there was a very controversial artist display in the mini museum we had. I don't remember the specifics, but there were many shots of clitoral piercings, urination shots, bondage, etc.....there was a large uproar from the conservatives who thought a majority of the "art" was simply there for shock value. When I saw it, I felt the same way. It didn't appear that there was an artistic avenue that was being created. Just pictures of eroticies that left the viewer wondering if they were supposed to appreciate it or condemn it for lack of artistic value.

yeah, i know what you mean. Most of what i've seen is just that. Taboo subjects like watersports, anal insertion, homoerotica, or the like. I haven't seen any artistic stuff of just plain old vanilla sex. Shock value is not my interest.
