Need legal advice
By night i'm a webmaster with 5 clients (produces a nice amount of extra cash) I designed this one website with the slogan Your _blank_ source about 4 months ago. 3 weeks ago one of their competitors came out with their new slogan Your _blank_ news source , its obviously a copy-cat crime, what can i do? I've already emailed their competitor and told them we want our link there, they said no, they had never seen our slogan (yeah, im surrre)..
what do i do? |

unless you've registered it as a copyright it's a he said she said...
but you should start that process if you want to actually collect something. that said it costs money to make money, it's not cheap to copyright anything.

Copyright and registered copyright are two very different things.
Copyright is pretty much free. Just put the little "C" in a circle after it. Registered copyright requires you to (gasp!) register it. The cost is nominal - $25 I think. I know a ittle teeny tiny bit about copyright law and I'm pretty sure the legal term for your situation is "fucked." Grit your teeth and move on.
