I just ate a bowl of . . .

Cookie Crisp mixed with Cocoa Pebbles. It was so freakin' good!

Anyone else mix cereals? I like to do it. Sometimes you come across something this good and it is truely great.

Notes:

no - there are no kids in the house. The cereal is mine. The wife bought them for me with coupons.

Yes I did go to the gym today and things are going well with my diet and excercise routine.

I always do that. When I was in Atlanta visiting my cousin I mixed Life with some healthy cereal and grape nuts. Mmm it sure was good.

I've never mixed cereals, but I often mix fresh fruit into my cereal, does that count? :)

My favorite combination would have to be Special K with banana slices, good stuff. :)

I think cookie crisp is the greatest idea ever.

When I was a kid, I mixed like 8 different cereals together with like, relish or something. It didn't turn out as well for me as it did for you apparently.

Tried it with honey oats cereal and special K with the dry strawberries...yum...

bought it myself too ;)

I hate mixed food that's not intended to be mixed. I'm sure my rules of mixing aren't consistant, but they make sense to me.

I didn't feel this was worthy of a separate post (this is a quote from a post below) but I'm entirely the same way. I hate my food touching unless it's meant to touch :p

I mix when there's just enough in about 3 boxes to make 1 full bowl.

It just makes no sense eating half a bowl of cocoa puffs to come back for half a bowl of corn pops....no sense.....*shakes head...

I need to stop reading two threads at the same time...I'm all weepy...:hmm:

LOL!!! That sounds like me when I was younger. My mom would put all these different foods on my plate and I'd carefully seperate them from touching. I would always say something like "MOM! The flavors are gonna clash!" I don't know when it all changed.

I sometimes mix milk in with my Captain Crunch... OK, I mix it in all the time.

As long as you stray away from mixing Lucky Charms with anything- it rarely works out.

Redlemon 05-12-2004 05:41 AM

I like to take a particularly sweet cereal (such as Golden Grahams) and dilute the sweetness with regular Cheerios.

Kaos 05-12-2004 06:32 AM

I once mixed Special K with Cheerios only because I didn't have enough of either to make a full bowl of one of them. :)

I'm strictly a raisin bran man with 2% milk. Classics never go out of style!

kulrblind 05-12-2004 07:45 AM

try some Vector with Frosted Flakes... embrace the inner child, assuage the guilt.

Charlatan 05-12-2004 08:23 AM

My wife and son are cereal eaters extraordinaire... they'd eat it at every meal if they could.

They mix cereals all the time. The latest is Raisin Bran with a sprinkling of either Vector or Granola.

I do eat cereal ( I had Cherrios just this morning) but I'm more of a toast man in the morning...

I am a big fan of apple jacks mized with frosted miniwheats. I sort of live off of cereal. I've tried all different mixes.

I let the soak speeds guide me. Apple Jacks and MiniWheats soak at totally different rates. I would think this would screw it up. Although if they get mushy enough, I bet they taste good. . .
