I agree, the hypocrysy of raising them and selective breeding for racing, yet not being allowed to raise and breed them to eat is foolish.
Yet we are talking about women who wear biggest ugly hats to watch these horses race in. So who are the smarter ones?

I like horses. The comanche people lived on their horses, gave birth on horseback.

I'd eat one if I was starving but otherwise I think they deserve some more respect than that.

They played a HUGE role in America's development; YES these spanish horses with the funny looking snouts.

I couldn't care less.

I'm glad the federal budget is balanced and making money, the homeless are sheltered, the hungry fed, children given proper education, and world peace are taken care of, so we can get to the REAL issues like this one.
