I think the draft should be mandatory for anyone who has expressed support for any current armed conflict. It is really easy to scream for war when you have the luxury of letting someone else fight it for you.

For the time being I think that the draft should be reserved for a future time when our home land may be threatened by an external enemy. As for the time being, this SNAFU/FUBAR that we find ourselves in is entirely too divisional for a draft to be a positive move.

I have been there and done that....

and let me tell you....when your number comes up and you get that "Greetings from the president..etc"---you WILL talk to your GOD...

Korea was no place to go at that time...to many body bags coming home.
