I am in the market for one of those old school men's full body black & white convict striped swimsuits like they near the beginning of the last century. I cannot come up with the right search terms to find one online. Anyone know whre such an item can be found?

Hah! My wife has a pair (set?) of those. They have the little feet on 'em, the zipper (just like our son's), and little cows. They're cuter than hell, and she claims they're warm and snuggy. Not very sexy, though.

Hit google and/or ebay for "vintage mens swimsuit" or "bathing suit." You can also call around to vintage shops in the area - if they don't have it, they'll be happy to call around to their suppliers and find one for you. You'll probably pay handsomely for it - these things are pretty rare. You can also try local costume and theater shops - if you're not looking for authenticity, they might have new ones they've made.

As for the footie pajamas...oh...kay. To each his own:

Top, I looked for 30 minutes and didn't come close. "Bathing Costume" came up a lot, as did "Jantzen". Perhaps this will help.

I was never a bleeder. But I definitely ran into my parents room screaming and crying. My dad was laughing so hard he couldn't breathe. It was very traumatic.
