Wisconsin sucks...
 

It's true! Last week we have nice weather (40s-50sF) and this week it is windy and DAMN cold. It seems like WI has two seasons; too cold or too hot with nothing in between. In winter its freezing, than a week later its in the 80's with 100% humidity, only to be in the 30's scant months later.

Any other Wi natives wanna back me up on this?

I'm with you man.. I was in Wisconsin till I was 18.. the weather just pissed me off. Although I remember one time in Janurary playing basketball in shorts.. and it was pouring rain.. that was kinda cool. Wisconsin keeps you guessing hehe.. that's why they say "Don't like the weather? Wait 5 minutes, it'll change"...

"You know..I wish that there was some way.. that I could be outside playing basketball in the rain and not get wet.. now wouldn't that be great, huh?"

dude...I'm in Chicago...you wanna talk about windy, lemme tell ya. Like you, it was in the 40s and 50s last week, and now it is windy. But besides being windy (strike 1) I'm close to the lake (strike 2) and there are buildings to funnel the wind (strike 3).

Sucks.

As for the topic, I feel ya! Here in North western PA we get the same thing all year round.

1 week ago it was 60's, today, its 3 inches of snow and ice.

Gotta love the great lakes and canadian wind/fronts.

Yeah, it is annoying, but at least we ended up with snow out of the deal. I mean, if it's cold, I want some snow to show for it, and we got that. But, I am ready for 75* weather.

I would like to second that motion please, sir.

Here here! Having the cold and not getting snow is like rubbing salt in a wound.. at least some snow would be interesting.. even if only for a couple days.. the bitter cold by itself is shit.

It's when people talk about the weather on a normal day that it is "bad".

The weather is a nice safe common subject that total strangers can relate to each other about. Without that, total strangers at the bus stop would have nothing to talk about (except maybe the current sport or political move).

Snow....Snow??? I hate this shit...i finally gave up shovelling it...my back is done. I hate this crap....but the summers in wisconsin are the greatest anywhere on earth. i'll challenge anyone to that.

It's 77 degrees and 52% humidity (low by our standards), so it's beautiful outside, but I'm sitting here surfing the net like always.

The fact that you think that 40-50 degree weather is nice should tell you something right there.

For this time of year in the Wisconson, Illinois, etc area, that *IS* nice weather.

Ohio and CT aren't much better.

Wisconsin sucks mostly because of the F*cked up way the property taxes are set up.

I don't own a house or property here (in WI), but I hear that the taxes are second or 3rd highest in the union. It's no wonder that industrialization and business in general is leaving WI in a hurry. Well, I suppose our loss is Rockford, Illinois's gain.

I had a friend unfortunatley move back to Milwaukee. :( He loves it up there. (I guess he is one of the few people)
