Crazy shit... It's been all over Finnish discussion boards...

not nearly as nasty as the guy who died from a black widow bite and get eaten by his pet spiders.

That's freaky.. I've heard of it happening before though.

It's not like you can fault the cats though.. it makes sense... it's just sick to think about.

Actually that is quite true, seeing as the cats were all put down.

Why were they put down?? That doesn't make any sense; if the old woman wasn't affected by something to the level of anthrax, then there's no real reason to kill 32 cats.

Well, it's the law in that country (where I am from originally, co-incidentally)... If an animal eats a human, it is put down.

Heaven forbid the cats keep from starving. *rolls eyes* That is sick nonetheless though, and I know I'd hate to have a cat that I knew had eaten a 91-year-old lady before.

That's gross. I'd hate to be in situations like that in my job, going to find people like that.

I don't do anything different than all my other cats. She just comes up and bites, no scratching and she's not pissed off or anything. any ideas?

She wants to play/get attention/wants food/hates you/ect...

So, how many cats is a woman allowed to have in the States?

The amount varies per city in the States I do beleave.

We had a pig eat a guy here some years ago. I remember that when ever I go past his place.

It's a horrific story, reminds me of one of my own "horrible-pet-stories" (which are, btw, quite numerous!)

We used to have three female-cats, and since they apparantly refused to take the 'birth-control-pill' we hid in their food, they occasionally got pregnant...

Now, we already had three cats, so a bunch of new kittens were too much to handle, so... we couldn't keep them, so... okay, we killed them allright! http://www.addis-welt.de/smilie/smil...rcat/cat28.gif (I realise, that this on its own is already a horrible story, but this one continues even further!)

Anyway, the mothercat --(without kittens, because we killed those...) off course was feeling all confused, mixed up with all sorts of hormones and i don't know what else...

One day, not too long after she had given birth, we saw her in the garden eating something, of which we thought it was a mouse or something alike... off course, it turned out those weren't mice at all, she was actually eating the dead bodies of her own kittens, we had buried them in the back of our garden...

Pigs WILL eat anything. Anyone who has seen the movie Sntach should know this ;) My father and grandfather are pig farmers and I used to help out on the farm when I could, if even a pig dies and you don't get it out of the field/pen ASAP, you won't find it. Doesn't matter if there is a full thing of feed right next to the corpse. Pigs eat anything and everything, often including bones.

This horrorscene always reminded me of the Roman emperor Caligula, of whom it is said that he has eaten the foetus of his own child that was in the womb of his own sister... (Strange guys those romans!):hmm:

Poor cats shouldn't have fallen victim to euthanasia just for doing what was necessary. I say they ate her because they loved her sooo much... Just think, each one took a little piece with them. :p

Now the big question for those who believe in reincarnation - can the old woman come back as a cat or the cats as a woman? That's something to ponder...:hmm:
