Your Opposite Sex Name
I was born 31.5 years ago, back when the sex of the baby was still a mystery until it came out. As a result My parents had names for both sexes ready for my arrival. Share your opposite sex name if you know it, and if not ask your parents or say what name of the opposite sex you'd like to have.
If I was a girl I would've been... Rebecca Ann but you can call me Becky

Kenneth Arnold __ Jr. My last name would have been distinctly German in origin too. My brother got the name so there still is one out there. I've always called him Kenny. All his friends and family call him Ken. I asked him a year ago if he wanted me to call him Ken too. He said he didn't want other's calling him Kenny but he WANTED me to call him Kenny, not Ken. I'm priveledged.

I don't know what I would have been. My Mom always jokes that I would have been Shauna... my real name is Sean. So either way I would have been the same. And oddly... my sister is Adrienne... boys name would have been Adrian.
My parents suck.

I *think* I would have been Nicole. Frankly I'm not sure it came up more than once if at all, and it's not important enough for me to remember well. But I think that's what it would have been.

I would have been Derek....
But they ended up naming my little brother something else (Mac) He was going to be Samantha if he were a girl.

My parents waited until I was born and then wanted to decide. My dad wanted to name me...it took him 2 F-ing weeks to think of something..until his friend came over to see me..his friend suggested Jessica..How original and thoughtful dad..or should I say dad's friend.

Well my parents knew before they picked names, so I never had a different name. But I did have a twin who was male, and his name was Jonathan (mine is Jennifer), so that probably would have been my male name.

I think it was Olivia, my name is now the totally dull Allan - thanks to my penis.
Thankfully my mother's dull choice won out, or else I'd have been.... Oh the horror.... Gustaf.

I almost certainly would have been named Rachel, after my Fathers niece who died in a plane crash.
(edit - she was his niece, not cousin. Oops.)

Joseph Bryan -- four kids, all girls so now of us got the name.
My mother was called Baby B until she was 6 months old. And she was only the 3rd of 8 children. If she was number 8 I could understand -- but 3rd!?

My parents' name for me was Spike Bozo.
No, i'm not kidding. They had a boy name, but never had a good girl name, and didn't know what I was until i came out. Had I been female, they'd have had to pick one quick. Officially though, it was Spike Bozo until birth. |

My parents had my name (Lori) picked out for me for both of my older brothers. Then when mom was preggers with me, due to her "advanced maternal age" (36 - when she saw that description she almost punched her doctor ) she had to have an amniocentesis (sp?) so they knew I was a girl for sure. It's funny to know they really wanted a girl with my name.

I would've been Aaron or Brandon...I don't think they'd really decided. Probably some combination of the two. Things turning out as they did, I ended up being Brandy.

I called my Mom to ask her and she told me I would have been named Jane after some grandparent or great-grandparent I never met.
