Plans for Christmas break

What are you planning on doing on this nationally celebrated holiday?

I'm planning on staying home with my folks, but I hear a fair amount of people are planning to work through the holidays. So i was wondering... are you going to make some extra cash working through christmas holidays or vegetate at home soaking up eggnog and gingersnap cookies?

my school gives me 6 weeks. My work is web design and tutoring, so nothing very stressful or demanding. I plan on relaxing until february :)

Nice long break :)

I have the week of New Years off. I want to go away for vacation. To the same place I went last year. Sigh.

f*cking college kids.....i graduated 2 years ago and the real world sucks!

mrquackers 12-18-2003 12:40 PM

I don't wanna hear it Sho Nuff! I've been out since '89!! LOL

At my place of employment, Christmas Day (and thanksgiving and every other holiday) is a work day. If you want it off, you need to take a vacation day. I've been good this year and saved up two weeks worth.

I will be sitting on my ass and loving it!

I've got about two and a half weeks off. I plan on just sitting around and enjoying it.

I don't really have anything to do here in FL beyond going to a Christmas party or two and getting plastered, I saw enough of the family in MD when I was there for Thanksgiving, so I'm visiting my best friend in WI for a few days.

It'd be nice if all my people were in one general area of the country, but oh well. It's a nice change of scenery.

I've got 4 days off between Christmas and New Years and I plan on spending that time vegging out in front of the tube or computer, seeing ROTK a few times and getting loaded. Yeah I know, boring but oh well.

Got 5 or 6 weeks, and will be working 10+ hours every weekday the entire period. Gotta get money somehow. :(

Nice Long Vacation from College! I work enough as it is during the school year and summers... I don't want to work during Christmas break if I don't have to, and it looks like I don't have to. Besides, in my community (overloaded with high school and college kids, yet no jobs available) it's hard enough to find a job for the summer, let alone a job just for two or three weeks.

One nice week-long Holiday Vacation after my birthday.
Going nowhere, doing nothing.

*siiiiigh* :)

One of the few perks of being in education. Long breaks.
