Christmas Break Blahs
So Christmas break started on friday for me, and I have spent most of the weekend just totally vegging out. Alas, I have reached that annoying spot where you are rested enough to want to do something but still not quite ersted enough to bring yourself to do it.
Anyone else stuck like that? |

Not yet but I hope to be there in about 5 days. Bored enough to clean my house, paint some walls, vacum. Man the envy others must feel.

Enjoy the vegging. I used to get bored with those times, but now I wish I had a week (read: could afford a week) of just doing nothing but changing channels and drinking beer. It might even be worth it to take a few exams just to get the time off. Let me reiterate, enjoy the time off for one day you will look at those days and wish that you were bored.

I'd have to agree with snakedance. Enjoy those days where you can sleep in late and have nothing on your schedule all day. I know I've been running around nonstop these past couple weeks leading up to exams and getting maybe 3-4 hours of sleep a night if that. Sleep is about the highest priority on my list of things to do next week.

It sucks in a way. I am taking 2 weeks off from work, but there isn't much to do. I suppose I will read and play the new Game Cube with the kids. I'm mainly taking vacation as I can get 2 weeks from just 5 days off (due to the 5 holiday days we have at the end of the year).

I am in the eye of the storm. I just got done with three weeks of 12 hour days, 6 days a week trying to get some major projects off my desk. I have two weeks off (scheduled clear back in March) then back the the 12/6 schedule for another 3 weeks. Hopefully I will be caught up for awhile.

Aaaaaaaaaaah done with finals! Vegging at my girlfriend's house, and going to get my tattoo tomorrow. Plan on working all through Christmas break, and moving into my new apartment right before the semester starts. Absolutely no blah here, if anything just as hectic as before, just minus the school.

Come on man! Embrace the BLAH! Just think of what you could be doing?
- Sit on the couch and contimplate the number of holes are in a stereo speaker. - Crank call your friends from school. Pretend you either a german librarian or a pimp looking for a few new 'employees.' Alternate. - See how many Hostess Twinkees you can eat in minute. Try to break that record. - Join a message board and post a bunch of inane responces on the first day. No wait, that's how I am spending my holiday. Heh. |
