I prefer not to wear either. I am more of a board shorts type of guy. But I would definitly have to go with the weasel. Those things are so hot. They got the hot pants and all sorts of good stuff.

But realisticly I think most people would prefer something in the middle.

MSD 12-11-2003 11:11 PM

I love option B, but I see a lot of people choosing it when they should be going for option A. Confidence is attractive, but the right choice of the most flattering clothing for individual body style does wonders.

dim5 12-11-2003 11:16 PM

Wow, I wonder what the market for the "wholesome" outfits are as compared to Wicked Weasel. Sales figures would definitely be interesting to see.

Redlemon 12-12-2003 06:55 AM

None of the above. I'm a big fan of nude beaches. Swimming with a swimsuit on is like showering in your underwear.

BuddyHawks 12-12-2003 07:02 AM

It depends on the person in question.

Now red -- this put a smile on my face.... :)

Good looking people should wear B
Ugly people: A

Pretty much, nice and blunt.

Common sense really. :)

suviko 12-12-2003 08:05 AM

Weasel.

If I can choose freely, bikinis by Gossard, Panos Enporio or Esprit or Speedo's bikinis/suits.

SabrinaFair 12-12-2003 08:32 AM

I prefer something in the middle...I've been looking for a strapless black one piece, because I don't like my belly but I love my neck and shoulders. Plus, no funky tanlines from shoulder straps. Just tan lines in...other places.

But that modest swimwear...Jesus. When I was a kid, if you wanted modest swimwear, you wore a t-shirt over your one piece.

bermuDa 12-12-2003 12:10 PM

I wear trunks/shorts when i swim, I wouldn't look good in a bikini.

on girls, it really depends. Not everyone would look good in a revealing bathing suit either... but sleeves on a bathing suit that isn't made of neoprene? LOL

World's King 12-12-2003 12:33 PM

I'm goin' have to vote for nude. It's the only way to swim. But then again I'm aquaphobic so it really doesn't matter.

SecretMethod70 12-12-2003 12:49 PM

 This is a trick question, right? ;)

Direct

I see far too many girls with B when they would look more attractive in A. I see it as the price to pay though for girls that look great in B that wear B. mmm eye candy

And who gets to judge? Surely those of us who are enlightened enough to post such thoughtful and philosophically driven answers as "Ugly people in A, lookers in B."

Frankly, I expect much better from the TFP.

I would love to see my wife in one of those tiny WW numbers, and both of us already love to swim naked. We do it whenever we get the chance (which is unfortunately not often)

tritium 12-12-2003 01:24 PM

Wicked Weasel is awesome. Like previously stated, I'm very curious to find out the intended market for the wholesome swimwear bathingsuits. I can't help but wonder if the market is a significantly and strongly southern-US protestant community...

mingusfingers 12-12-2003 02:36 PM

I think it's very obvious. I saw the wholesome skirt, and then closed the window :D

Mephisto2 12-12-2003 02:44 PM

Well, we have to agree that the "wholesome" swimwear is for those who have issues (be they religious, sexual or confidence related) with showing a lot of skin.

For example, a lot of muslim women like to swim too you know. And many of them do not wear the burqa, but at the same time are not happy about bikinis. In fact, the same thing goes for some Christan and Jewish "fundamentalists".

Having said all that, I kind of posted this tongue-in-cheek. As is often the case, an interesting discussion was born out of a facetious remark. :)

It's a man!!

santafe5000 12-12-2003 05:10 PM

Well "A" would be for Jehovah Witnesses and maybe the Amish, While "B" would be for the Harlets of the world. Seriously, I have to go for B. At least it leaves a little for the imagination.

forseti-6 12-12-2003 06:56 PM

B is nice to look at... But I wouldn't want my daughters (if I had any) or my girlfriend to wear either.

TopRamen66 12-12-2003 07:00 PM

B in moderation, using discretion obviously.

cowudders14 12-15-2003 12:56 PM

Looking at A - that's hilarious!
Looking at B - That's possibly a little too far but it's very nice. A fairly nice figure huggin one piece or a two piece that covers all the esentials while leaving the outlines plainly visible. Hmmm.. :-)
My wife has a lovely black 2-piece. It covers her bits up but she looks so nice in it!

Sapper 12-15-2003 03:39 PM

Option B - perhaps a tad bit more conservative however.

gabshu 12-15-2003 04:15 PM

Both are ridiculous. Come on people, only supermodels can wear wickedweasel and look good. And I think option A is reserved for mormons.

GakFace 12-15-2003 04:20 PM

I have NEVER seen that wholesome stuff before. I'd look better in trunks. :).. but for women.. It looks like choosing between a bikini ;);).. and a raincoat.....

powder 12-15-2003 04:40 PM

If it's a fat chick I prefer not to see her in wicked weasel gear.

druptight 12-15-2003 04:48 PM

my question is if you're going to spend $70 on a see through bathing suit, why wear a bathing suit at all!?!

raeanna74 12-15-2003 04:48 PM

I usually wear a plain simple one piece. Sometimes a tankini which it what I used more often after pregnancy because it covered the obvious-to-me stretchmarks on my thighs. When I'm out with just adults and don't expect a lot of kids around though I will wear something much like B above. Obviously I like to swim and have several suits that I like.

My usual one is almost exactly like the black one at the top.
Basic one piece

I grew up with these kind of people. I'm from the North (ok born is SC but lived in Wis since I was 3) and my whole church wore swimwear much like this. In fact the woman went to a different place than the men and they were usually remote swimming holes or lakes and not the public beaches. My mother made me wear a one piece suit with "culottes" I hated those things. They were annoying and stuck to me. In one sense it made me more comfortable in clothes. I have been known to just dive in when I wanted to go swimming and not bother removing my clothes. On the other hand I've been known to go skinny dipping. Mom caught me once and I got grounded for 2 weeks AND a spanking. You are right it's a conservative religious group that I lived with it that way. It was very Conservative Baptists. Since then I have not run into very many Baptists who are quite so strict. The kids that I grew up with have completely dropped the RULES that we lived with.

sailor 12-15-2003 04:50 PM

Neither. Skinnydipping :D

Glad to see someone else already said it. Swimming naked is an awesome feeling.

lightning 12-15-2003 09:51 PM

The classic one piece is a pretty fine way to show off the female figure. But those tiny bathing suits can really get a guy excited.

I've never seen a real person wearing the wicked weasle suits though.

Couldn't agree with you more.

cowudders14 12-16-2003 01:52 PM

I admit to never having gone skinny dipping but I'd love to. Need to convince the other half though.. :)

eotlemac 12-16-2003 09:04 PM

WHOLESOME WEAR- god calm down, if god diddnt want you to ever show skin he wouldnt have given you any.

stonecurran 12-17-2003 12:56 AM

um...........if i was a girl i would go for B cause im a guy i would like to see girls in um..............B

Amethyst 12-17-2003 10:25 AM

It depends on the person. What kind of body type the person has what the person looks like. But I think most people would prefer something in the middle. You really went from one extreme to the other.

WannabeTFP 12-17-2003 01:31 PM

All I have to say is d-d-d-d-damn.

present_future 12-17-2003 08:40 PM

I'm definitely going to have to go with option B. Unless that is you're like my grandma or something.
