Damn PEN!
Short story...
White Load of wash + One 3/4 used blue pen = Blue Load Wash How the pen got in there I have NO idea:hmm: |
Say it's Tie Dye and call it a day...
really it sucks that one small item can wreck so many clothes. You have my condolences for your loss of clothes. |
One bottle bleach = white clothes again. Maybe.
I've found that Iron Out in laundry will release almost any die on the planet. Granted, I found this out in a very not good way. However, DO NOT mix iron out and bleach, that releases chlorine gas, and god knows what else. You can purchase Iron Out at damn near any wal-mart type store. It's also sold under the Yellow Out brand name, but it's the same thing in both bottles. There's no die that can resist this stuff, it's scarey I tell you. Luck. I'm on laundry probation myself since two weeks ago I threw a wool sweater in the dryer. Usually I air dry stuff like that, but it was new and I didn't read the tag. She was very interested in her new mini-sweater. |
I left a pen in my pocket the one time. Instead of dyeing everything blue, some clothes just got blue spots on them. Annoying nonetheless. The fool that I am sent them through the dryer which pretty much set the stains. I wouldn't recommend doing that.

its kinda funny, there wasn't enough ink to change the color, but if the items are balled up and in the light, they have a blueish tint color.

Spray the blue areas with hairspray (Suave works well), let dry, wash.
I don't know how well it will work for this much stain but I had a pair of good khakis that a pen had leaked in. Learned about the hairspray trick a couple YEARS later. Tried it out and it worked. Within 2 washes there wasn't a trace left. Good luck They used to use liquid bluing instead of bleach on white clothes to give them a whiter look. This might not be too bad if it's like you said - A blueish tint color. |
oh man that sucks!
i once put one of my jeans + my socks/underwears in the washer and everything came out maroon. |
