Just a quick thought . . .

Is it just me, or does anyone else think it was an incredible coincidence that that "unauthorized" tape was "leaked" to the internet just before her stupid show premiered on Fox??? Got her on the cover of a couple magazines, crying about how she was "devastated!" It sure didn't hurt her "reputation" any, and all the free buzz helped the first night of her idiot show become a big hit.
Maybe we're so immune to slick marketing campaigns, that we just don't think about this kind of thing. Or else everyone else figured it out already, and I'm behind the curve...

She's so into herself it's fucking pathetic.

Of course the general population are complete tools. It was released, and most likely by her just to help out that dumbass show, which I'll never watch. But as I already said, there are plenty of tools out there that'll watch because she is a hot chic, and a bunch of boys who can't get laid have lame fantasies.

I saw it, nothing special, but I'm not gunna watch the show...

As I heard on a late night talk show last night...

Maybe her ex (or whoever had the tape) thought he could get more money for it since the show was coming up.

I just think she's to busy being self-absorbed to make any kind of marketing decision. Especially one like that.

The video sucked, but the show is funny as hell! Some of the things they say are amazing. THey got sent to the grocery store and one thing they had to get was 'generic water' and neither of them knew what generic was :)

Fox previously was going to schedule "The SImple Life" for the summer next year when everything else went to re-runs. This scandal made the decision easy for Fox to put it into their schedule early.

Maybe, it also coincided with her trip her to Australia. As well as the leaking of her phone number etc. 99% of Australian's had no idea who she was before her trip here. She certainly worked the media..

If anyone fucked her, you'd have to teach her first! I was disappointed with the action and lousy blowjob but "fucking fred" has me laughing for hours. They guys in the office loved it. We now have a banner over the break room with "FUCKING FRED!"

I had no idea who she was before the tape. The tape itself was pretty boring, and I didn't watch her show on Fox nor do I even know what it's called.

Any publicity is better than no publicity. I did find the timing incredibly ironic, but hey, she is doing what she has to do to attract attention. It still won't make me watch the show.

i never thought about it like this before, but now that you mention it, it does seem like a marketing ploy. i'll be sure to watch out for these things from now on.
