How to be a Flight Attendant?
I'm interested in becoming a flight attendant. Does anyone know anything about those floght attendant schools they have on the internet or anything of that sort? What's the best way to do it? Thanks for your help.

I don't know much about this either, but it was something I was entertaining a few weeks back myself. The site I checked put me off quite a lot, basically it was a one day training course which dealt with how to 'market yourself' to airlines. It didn't actually get into the nitty gritty, just prepared you for the interviews etc. I thought that was pretty lame, and probably not worth my $200 au, so I kinda gave up... :/

I did a story about flight attendants several years ago and talked with the folks at Delta. At that time, at least, they trained all of their people in-house, meaning those third party schools were mainly a waste of money.
Not to state the obvious, but have you ever asked one of the attendants for his/her advice when you were on a flight? |
The airline will train you, don't waste your money on anything else.

My girlfriend has an ex who worked for an airline. I will ask her and report back to you.

I hate flying... but didn't know that until I flew a great number of times. It's stressful and boring. To me at least. |

Mainly because I like people, I'm enrolled in school right now but not very interested in it, and I'd like to go somewhere and do something. It seems like it would be a fun job. |
Just bumping this up to see if I can get any more replies
