hello. I didn't want to revive a dead thread, so im going to put this here. someone asked if the gal from the world cup was/is actually a male. I've heard this elsewhere, but i don't think there is anything to it.

I think the confusion stems from the fact that there is a Kpop star that that was at one point a male (Though i forget her name), and the fact that this girl seems to have an adams apple. it's worth noting that both males and females have adams apples, but females have a layer of smooth fat that generally hides it.

Either way this girl now has a kpop album under the name "mina." I believe at some point I read that she was pretty much a backup dancer for other kpop stars but the pub she got for her korean pride at the cup helped her land a deal.

I could be wrong on all of this info. it's been months since i read anything about this, and even then I'm not sure i was paying too much attention, so i could really be wrong.

That girl definitely has above-average male facial features.

GakFace, I was trying to find a gallery of transsexuals I once saw to show you, but I can't seem to locate it. Anyone with basic androgynous features and a good surgeon can be made into a convincing person of the opposite sex. Instincts are silly buggers.

This little lady looks WAY better and MUCH more feminine than any of the real or fake ones I've seen there.

Yep I'm with you on that one, and it is scary that she might be a he - it can be so bloody difficult to tell sometimes

Did that for my sake. But all I have to say is Male or Female, she/he/it is beautiful enough for me to want some, and I'm comfortable saying that.

you should have showed the pictures first and talked about the adam's apple afterwards, cuz if you concentrate on it, it does seem awkwardly obvious.
I, myself, have a large adam's apple although i'm a guy.

Definitely a female. She has since turned that little photo op into a singing career here in Korea. She has a few videos on the Korean music stations.

I don't know very much about genetics but I do know this:
XY females are people who are genetically male but physically female. This occurs when the fetus doesn't recognize the horomones that activate the body to develop as masculine. Since the male and female genitial structures are homologyous, what might have been a penis becomes a clitoris, what might have been testicles becomes a labia majora, etc. They tend to be tall with well developed bodies, clear, beautiful skin and are usually very beautiful. Not that I'm saying she is an XY female...just thought I'd share what I've learned in biology class. :-)
