thats a great letter. i am sure that letter probably helped him out also, to get some things off his mind.
some thing similar happened to my coach. back when he was in like high school, he went on a soccer tour to europe. in this particular game an opponent and him went up to head a 50/50 ball. my coach hit the other guy in the back of the head and nocked the guy out. he was in a coma for like a day or two then died. no one really talks to my coach about it though, and the worse part is, is that when the kid went down, the parents on the other team got extremely mad, saying he did it on purpose. you got to wonder what it is like to be responsible for taking another persons life, accidental or not. |
I'm sure I am speaking for everyone when I say that it was a very moving letter and that it is truly amazing how both parties took this. What happened was truly sad. After reading about your ordeal, how you and your family acted, and his response, it made me beleive that there is still good out there in the world.
Thank you for sharing this and I offer my condolances. Take care, -Robert |
Truly great stuff. Thanks for posting it.

Ditto. (everything that's been said already)

That was awesome. I don't even know what to say. People always say everything I say and more in topics before I can.

I was touched. I don't know what to say.....thanks for sharing

both of you have a level of courage I can hardly express. You for having the courage to forgive, him for having to courage to apologise.
I'm terribly sorry about what happened to your brother, but (and this comes from an utterly unreligious man) bless you for being able to open your heart to forgiveness. You are one of life's angels. |
