Wake up tomorrow as someone else
 

If you had a choice to wake up as someone else tomorrow morning... who would it be? Why?

My answer:
springrain... *smile* I know I know... sounds cheesey but really... I have often said to springrain that I would like to 'walk in a womans shoes' to really 'feel and understand' what it's like to be a woman... the good... the bad... the ugly... I would choose springrain specifically becuase I want to understand her better... to really get to know her heart and mind... what are her fears and joys...
So... there you have it... I would want to wake up as my wife... *smile*

First and most importantly, I am a new person every time I wake up - every day. For most people this may seem like a trivial concept or a mere verbal construction. But for me, it is my method of existing on this earth and it has been this way for me for longer than most of us here have been alive.

Of course, many people do not notice this about me - they have their own issues to worry about and prefer to categorize me rather than apprehend and deal with the new me that I present to them daily.

But to answer your question in a less abstruse way, I would prefer to be a woman. A female-gendered version of myself would be preferable to this current male version. I see women as more highly evolved beings and that is always my trajectory - toward higher evolution.

Well, I'd go for Eddie Van Halen and wail all day! That, or Hugh Hefner, or George W. Bush. :)

That is really interesting Art. It would be cool one day to wake up as a man just to see what its like. But i think i would want to change back afterwards.

I'd love to wake up and for a day be Billy Joel, playing a concert at Madison Square Garden.

Did you know that after 7 years, all the cells in your body have regenerated at least once? That means that the "you" now and that "you" seven years ago are complete different persons...physically anyway.

Hmmm.... i would wake up as ... anything with boobs :D I mean really, i would be awesome to be a really amazingly hot woman for a day. And just have fun with her / yourself. I would want to go back after a while, but oh man the things i would do to myself :D

I can never really answer these questions because I wouldn't want to be anyone else. If anything I would like to have Michael Jordan's basketball talent, from his prime, for a day just to see how it would feel to be a god on a basketball court. After playing hoops for a few hours I'd want to go back to being myself. :)

i´d like to wake and spend some time as someone who has lived a remarkable life.
i think Sir Edmund Hillary wouls be a good choice for me.
i´d love to know now what it feels like to have lived and achieved amazing feats of human ability, endurance and also of charity and heartbreak.
to feel that would be to truly feel alive.

I think I would want to wake up as Saddam Hussein or Osama Bin Laden. Then I could do the world a favour and come out of hiding and get myself killed by some lucky soldier.

I would want to wake up as... someone on thier deathbed. That way when I get there, I can be at complete peace, because I will have done it before.

If I had to chose a real person it would probably be Brad Pitt though.

I'd go around and walk up to beautifull women saying:

and seeing as I'd be Brad Pitt they'd go:

and then I'd go:
"Well tough luck on YOU then." and walk away.

Because like HELL am I goanna get Brad Pitt laid.

I want to wake up as a rancher out on his farm with his beautiful wife, somewhere on a hill by the ocean, with not a care in the world but to tend to the farm.... No homework, no taxes, no internet... a simple life.

and why do you think women are more highly evolved? that's interesting bcos my friend and i had a discussion about this once and how we think women are more evolved than men but of course we might be slightly biased ;)

anyway.. if i could wake up and be someone else i'd like to be someone completely different than me. just to see how they think.

It depends. Would I also wake up in that time period if I choose a historical figure? If so, I have a few of them. I'm fascinated by several periods of history, and would love to go live some time in each of these. Possibly my top three:

Siddhartha Guatama - The most famous Buddha, born in the sixth century B.C. in Nepal. I would love to walk a day in his shoes, both before and after his Enlightenment.

Masamune - Japanese swordmaker from 1300 AD. Not just for his prowess at swordmaking, but just for the insight of living in Japan at this time.

Gaius Julius Caesar - At the height of the Roman Empire. I think I'd try to spend the day sightseeing! :lol:

There are three choices here. Be all profound and be someone really amazing. Or just be someone who's gorgeous with lots of money. Or be the opposite sex.
Option A: Like Bundy, someone who has had an amazing, fulfilled life....Who - I have no idea.
Option B: Angelina Jolie - i'd love to be her!
Option C: A man, obviously...

Anyone with huge amounts of money like Bill Gates and I would give a boatload to my oldself so I would be super rich when I got back.
