My brother and I were the only children in our home. Even though we were 6 years apart in age(I'm eldest), we were always cohorts in trouble. We actually got into trouble more often together than the number of times we tattled on each other. Now that we're adults we talk about almost anything. Probably too much in some cases. lol

I've purchased condoms for him when he was busy and had a special date coming up and we've talked about what are the best to use and such. The four of us, including my brother and I and our spouses, have sat and scoped out hot girls. My sister-in-law is Bi and I learned that from my brother. He's told me that she wants to have a 3some with another girl but he's not really interested (partly because they've only been married 5 months). I have two siblings, a younger brother aged 17 and an older half-brother on my mother's side aged about 30. I'm 22.

My younger brother and I were constantly arguing and occasionally fighting right up until I left home at 18. We get along much better now and although we don't get to talk a lot there is a feeling of closeness and friendship that we didn't have when we were both living at home. When we talk it's usually about our common interests music and computer games, or about life in general.

I didn't know my half-brother existed until I was about 11 or 12 and met him soon after. He's a good guy and both my younger brother and I got along with him really well. He came and lived with us for a while before leaving to move in his his gf. I haven't seen him much since and not at all in the last couple of years. He's still in contact with our mother so I know where he works, but I keep forgetting to go catch up with him when I'm in town. Other than my forgetfulness, I don't really know why neither of us has made any effort to see each other.

Then he and I hated each other up until I was about 17/18 and moving out of the house. Now we're really good friends (even after I moved back home) and we usually watch each others' backs. There's so much of an age difference that it's hard sometimes, but about once a month I make sure to hang out with just him for a while so he knows I don't hate him...

I think he had a tendency to start shit between us so one of us would be on "his side" since he couldn't really play barbies with us. I think he adores my sister, and like me, thinks every thing she does is amazing, and she sees him as her big brother. She just came and visited me last weekend and i realized that i felt more like myself than i have since the last time we were both home. I think that i'm gonna have to make sure that when we're "grown ups" we live in the same city so we can wet our pants laughing at each other on a regular basis again.

My sister (6 years younger)and I speak about everything her kids, mom and dad and all of the family goings on(she is the closest and can visit then on a regular basis) My brother (3 years younger) and I speak when he's around, its not that we fight its just that we are two very different people now and really don't have much in common, but I would do anything for my siblings if the need arises.

My half-sister and I were pretty close until I hit around age 9. Then I realized I wanted to move on in life while her and my other cousins wanted to stick around and do the same stupid kiddy stuff (even though she is 3 years my senior). So we kinda grew apart for a few years (I lived at home with my mom and step dad while she lived with our grandma since her mom sucks and our dad is in jail).

Then she made the worst decision in her life (she isn't the brightest bulb) and had sex with some asshole. He left, promised to marry her, joined the army and married some other girl. All of this while she was only 17. That guy is lucky as hell I wasn't around. So my nephew brought us closer and every now and then she'll call so he can talk to me.

My little sister, *sigh*. I still do my best to steer her in the right direction since I'm the only one thats not afraid to hit her when she fucks up (not beat up but she knows she fucked up when I do). She's 6 years younger than me and I don't want her to screw up like my older sister did.

So yeah, we're as close as I want to be.

I don't really think I am that close with my siblings.

When I am at home I barely talk to my brother and I go weeks w/o talking to my sister. The only time my brother will reach out to me online or via phone is if he wants something.

It bothers me sometimes, but another part of me knows that I have made attempts to reach out and be there for them, but they have bigger priorities. Oh well.

My family realy values success in academia, I have cousins that go to places ranging from harvard to the university of Vienna, and many others. I have two half brothers, one 7 years older than me and the other 9. The one thats 7 years older (26 now) is another overacomplished family prodigy, fulbright schoral, etc. he's a cool guy and we only started to get along when I moved out of the country. But we don't really do anything together and before that we used to fight all the time to get attention from my mom, we still do sometimes, its silly.
My other brother is 28 now and he hasn't even graduated college but he's such a happy cool guy. He's really nice he's always there for you and he would include me in with his group of friends when I moved to go to college near him, even though I'm a lot younger. He recently moved to Argentina in one of his hippy stunts, so I'm really sad.
I love both my brothers very much and I miss them, but I always got along better with the older one.

My relationship with my brother varies. Hes 2 years younger then me, and most of the time we get along, but we have our moments.

Of the two of us, I got the quick thinking, and easy life in school, and he got the better hands on skills. He loves engines and the whole bit. To me engines are a conceptual thing, and I would be hard pressed to fix one, while for him that sort of thing comes naturaly. I have to think my way through it.


His slower thinking drives me insane at times though, which is why I mention it. A lot of our contention starts from me flipping out about something he didnt think through, or something he says that just makes limited sense, and drives me up the wall.

My younger sister (by 2 years) and I used to always fight and all the time. I was the oldest and a boy so I couldn't go all out on her, but boy would she go all out on me. Well, a time passed and just a couple years ago we just started getting along really well. We can talk about anything with each other and get along superbly. She'll lend me money if I need it, I'd do the same for here. I've heard adults saying they never got along with their siblings till their 30s, so I'm glad that I've reached this place a lot earlier.

when we lived in the same house we weren´t very close. i mean, we didn´t fight all that often, i guess we just never had the same interests. he usually just ignored me at school.

The oldest is my Half-Sister, I found out about her existance about 8-10 years ago ( I think, its been a while). I still don't see her as a sister, and I doubt I ever will... she's "My dad's kid" with no feeling or anything attatched. I feel a lot of this is because just how fucked up her family is (marriage and kids), we never bonded and with all that I can't stand about that family.. she's here, but I won't see her as my sister.

Oldest Full Blooded Sister? Until she got married and moved out I just didn't talk with her. PERIOD. Wasn't that I hated her, in fact I tried more times than I can count to fix things between us, but it got to a point where I'd say "Hi!" and she'd give me the equivolent of a "fuck off" (because she'll NEVER say the word "fuck"). I just stopped talking to her. All she did was complain about my lifestyle, even though she would only see me during certain parts of the day (so she saw how I routinely got on my computer after class and had a soda... she's a nurse), and just bitch to me constantly. I was happier than a ... umm.. I don't know but I was extremely happy to see her move out. Now things are better, we get along, but I also think a lot of that is due to the fact that we dont' see each other every day. Ah well, Things are better and I can now say 'Hi' to my sister and get a nice response back. I'm happy with that.

Then comes the "middle child" the sister who is my youngest sister. She has always been called "The Cool One." We have gotten along really awesome our entire life (except for one year, which is an entire story in and of itself). Whenever we got grounded (TV, then Games for me, and phone for her).. We'd spot for each other. "Hey! Parents are pulling in the driveway!" I have yet to hear this as a common thing. I used to think all siblings were cool to each other. After I explained this to some of my friends, they all told me how all of their siblings were QUICK to tell on them. This sister is always more than happy to let me drink, because of which I always have free access to her stash!! We talk about anything and Everything. I haven't exactly talked description about her sex life... but thats something I dont' think i'll be interested in though, either. Heck, that one year when we didn't get along, by that time (when I was a Sophmore in Highschool), we couldn't get each other in trouble because we knew SO much about each other, that we knew we'd both be in trouble for the rest of our lives. Here let me end this with a perspective. I took a class that she is ALSO in, and there are only 9 people total in the class. Tons of people think that would suck, I think its awesome! (Heh, she made a point to tell me that this hot chick in the room is her friend so that I shouldn't hit on her. ... and that she's married. Side Note: It was obvious as I haven't seen a rock so huge! wow!)
