A silly question for a serious reason.
 

Okay, I have a very serious issue to pull up soon, but have to do it in an odd manner. The question comes off like a nonsense way or immature. I assure you that, when I finish the threads that fruit from this, it will make sense.

For the sake of the populace, I simply say: be honest and post. If it is too embearesing, I understand. The info, to me, is important.

In all honesty, how long do you think you could go without an orgasm other than a wet dream or the occasional ones that happen through deep thought?

No sex. No rubbing, no feeling, no masturbation, no oral, no anything except knowing you need to come. Days? Weeks? How about years?

I ask the mods to keep this in GD, please.

If i went further than four or five days i would become very nervous and pissy.

...i dunno. i don't typically go more than a day without some sort of orgasm... either self-induced or through the sexifying of another.

probably alot longer than 2 weeks, haven't tried any longer since I didn't have a reason to hold out longer than that.

I went three months without one while I was in basic training. That's the longest I've been able to go since I first learned how to do it. It builds up a lot of pressure in you to keep it in for too long. Kinda the same feeling as a smoker that hasn't had a cigarette in a few days.

I imagine a person could go for years without one as long as they don't have wet dreams and they have the dedication to do so. But why would you want to?

In my current state, probably a month. If there was some sort of important reason for me not to (eg. medical) I could probably last a lot longer.

Anyway, a week would be tough, but that is voluntary.

If there was some penalty, I could go indefinately if necessary.

I couldn't even make it through a month in the hospital with a catheter installed, so I probably could only abstain for about two weeks.

My will is strong, I could say years. However, I have no reason to do so, and as phred said, gotta keep the prostate cancer away.

I've only had one wet dream, I think that was just an excessively horny night (I had taken care of myself earlier)... I don't get the whole wet dream thing anyways, it's messy and kind of disappointed when you wake up and realize it was just a dream and now you have more laundry to do.

after a week it'd be pretty fucking bad. Especially now it's summertime :D

I've gone since last Saturday. I don't plan to go much longer.

I went for 2-weeks at a time over a period of 3 months during basic training. Was too busy to screw or jerk-off. That is ... until weekends off :D :p

Ditto. I was "oh so afraid" of having one and it never came. Guess I could go for a few years since I don't do it much as it is. *shrug*

Sort of depends on the amount of stimuli as well. If you avoid all contact with the opposite sex, porn, etc, then maybe a couple of months, but I <I>really</I> don't want to find out. I like the feeling very much, the more the better...

i went about two months and it does get easier after a while but the first two weeks suck(constant hardon). right now i cant go more than two days.

I think I've gone 6 weeks at the most. It was during one of my "breakdowns" I just didn't feel like doing it with my wife or by myself. Tough time.

Quite a while, a couple of months at least.

I went for a week on a camp, but I had no private time apart from in a manky toilet stall. I seem to be the reverse of what you guys are saying. I had tons of female contact on the camp, what with my girlfriend there and all, and tons of other girls (3:1 odds :)). It seemed to take away my desire.

I went about a month. And this is coming (pun intended) from a daily jerker. It wasn't as tough as I thought...its all in your mind.
But...I will never do that again, unless I am forced to for whatever reason. Plus I imagine if I was visiting someone for a few days I could get by without shaking my yogurt slinger.

Really, if I put my mind to it, I believe that it could be indefinite. There comes a point where you simply don't care anymore.

I think probably forever. If I had to abstain from it, I think after a couple weeks I'd be used to it. I don't think it'd be like pressure building up continuosly day after day, after a week or so I'm sure production stops, and that's probably when it becomes easier to abstain.

I could probably go a really long time if I had to for some reason. With me, if I'm really busy, I'll get tired and I'll forget about it, so I might go a week without even thinking about it. But then again, I've never tried to hold out for any particularly long time, so I reckon I'd start noticing after awhile and get the itch ;) Why on earth would you want to deprive yourself!

It all depends on what it's for. If someone said, "I'll give you $1,000,000 if you don't orgasm for a year" then I could do it. But if someone was like "see how long you can go" I would probably go two weeks and then give up.
