Teacher throws schoolboys out

Quote:

Teacher literally throws schoolboys out of classroom
Two Moroccan schoolboys have sustained injuries after a female teacher threw them out of a first floor classroom window for being too noisy.

One of the boys, a nine-year-old, has been taken to hospital with a fractured shoulder and serious facial and head injuries while the other, aged ten, suffered slight wounds.

A government official in Casablanca has stated the female teacher had warned the two she would throw them out if they were not quiet.

"They did not listen. They should have listened," the official said, adding that the teacher "suffers depression."

I saw this story listed somewhere else and immeadiately sent it to my girlfriend, who has always been fascinated with the differences in cultures.

Some observations:
1. The government official is hilarious - and typical of governments everywhere. Here is one politico that you could find anywhere in the world - he covers all bases for blame while insulating the system from any blame. The boys were warned and the teacher is a nutball.
2. Since more and more children, sadly, have no fear of academic failure within their own homes perhaps more countries should adopt this approach. Little Johnny may pipe down and make it easier for those children who actually want to learn if he sees his buddy Stevie end his academic career through classroom window.

"They did not listen. They should have listened," the official said.

How fucking priceless is that?

Well, when idle threats don't work, you gotta make an example out of someone :)

bring that teacher to the USA....and have her teach others in her ability to get students to listen....then have her teach parents

the world, then will be perfect

dnd 10-08-2003 10:35 AM

hey that seems reasonable, lets just be glad she wasn't two stories up....because doubt they would survive...i wonder if she literally picked up the kids and threw them out or just pushed them? i bet the other kids kept quiet the rest of the lesson.

I think that's funny.

I think its great, I think some kids are getting way too cocky and arrogant now days, and teachers cant do anything to stop them anymore really.

legolas 10-08-2003 01:22 PM

Um throwing them out of the window and causing head injuries is not the key to control even though I bet those other kids were on the best behavior the rest of the day.

Xell101 10-08-2003 01:29 PM

One hell of a way to make your point.

sexymama 10-08-2003 03:10 PM

And to think, all this time I've been using logic as a form of discipline! Little did I knokw that all I needed to do was get violent. (Note: tongue in cheek!)

Xiangsu 10-08-2003 06:52 PM

Poor bastards lmao

Nimbletoe 10-08-2003 07:16 PM

"How was your day at school today Tommy?"

"... I got thrown out the window."

emidew22 10-08-2003 07:27 PM

If you're going to allow violence as method of disipline, why not rule out the possibility for back injury and just revert to caning again. Oh, wait, there was a reason why they stopped doing that.

Although i gotta admit, that was pretty damn entertaining.

It is overwhelming to be a teacher when the students don't respect or fear you and just talk over you. I can see how she came to that drastic measure.

JBX 10-08-2003 07:35 PM

About time!

wry1 10-08-2003 10:48 PM

She wasn't punishing the students, she was tutoring them.....

....on the concept of Gravity (and Newton's 1st Law of Gravitation).

Think of it as a "classroom exercise"!

first.. kids don't listen

second... 'suffers depression'.. i think she's in the wrong profession then... she shouldn't be teaching

druptight 10-09-2003 07:06 AM

that's amazing, i can't believe there's no mention of any punishment for her actions.....

Midnight_Son 10-09-2003 07:56 AM

I hope she gets a raise

thejoker130 10-09-2003 08:00 AM

Hmmmm... Wonder if i can use that tactic when i start teaching...

Arc101 10-09-2003 08:02 AM

I'm glad to see someone actually carries out their threats. I think all teachers dream of doing this, and I’m sure all her pupils now do what they are told.
