So what do you think the Hollywood version of the Iraq war is going to be like ?
I can just imagine the Hollywood version of the war. Bush goes over to Iraq kills everyone, rips off Saddam's head, finds lots of nukes and manages to disarm them all, and everyone in the world thinks he is amazing !

It's Hollywood, Bush will be portrayed as an evil dictator bent on world destruction until Clinton breaks through a window in a ninja suit to take control of America as permanent grand supreme leader for all of eternity (because liberal democrats are the paragon of virtue and the American way).

It will show the Amreican government's decisionmaking as ill-conceived but portray our fighting men and women as heroic. This is as predictable as tomorrow's sunrise. |
