Here goes...

Was at this Bar in Toronto called the Madison - nice ambience and great women - with two of my friends approximately two months ago. Towards the end of the night I met this FANTASTIC girl...I mean we hit it off right away...we got talking and I found out she was 30 and that she's never dated a younger guy (I'm 25)Anyway, her ugly friend was bored because she was being neglected so she insisted that they leave. Being the coward I am, I didnt get A's (abbreviated for privacy) #, however, the conversation was ended with a great kiss on the cheek. As she was just out of my sight...I got my friend to literally run after to give her my number. Now, my friend's gone for about 15 min. and A comes back and says "Shine...I want you to call me sometime and gave me her #. I was thrilled.

Some time and head games passed and we started talking on a every other day basis for about a week...I was in heaven.

One day out of the blue, she stops calling. Two week pass and I did'nt call her cause I took my stupid friends advice. Nevertheless, she calls me two weeks later and left a message saying she needed to talk and that she wanted to ask me something...Called her back the next day...she told me that she doesn't want to get involved with me romantically BUT...she had a younger sister that she wanted to hook me up with. I was fucking shocked - afterall - who hooks up someone you meet in a bar with your younger sibling??? To make a long story short...do you guys think it was right of me to call theyounger sister? could A have intentionally given me the number to see whether I would actually call...?

Well, being the idiot I am - I called and have heard nothing from either of them since that day

What would you have done differently - as you can tell Im still kicking myself in the ass ...

I agree with MacHeath. If it was a test, who needs that kind of crap? If it wasn't a test, you did the right thing. Sounds like something made her lose interest, so she stopped calling. And just because she thinks you'd be good for her sister doesn't mean the sister thinks so, hence (perhaps) the silence on that front. I'd say don't sweat it - shrug and move on.

What the hell kinda of advice did your friend give you that had you not call her two weeks? Don't kick yourself in the ass, punch him in the neck. Should've kept trying with her.

If she's the type to play games like that...she isn't worth your time or energy. You certainly don't want to be in a relationship where you have to worry about and analyze every thing she says and does to look for other meanings.

Yeah. I would've waited three days, then called her to see what was up.

As for the younger sister bit, no go. If it doesn't work out with her, the chances of it working out with a younger sister at even worse.

If she was testing you (in other words, playing games), you're better off without her. Then again, you pulled something similar by waiting two weeks. What kind of message do you think that sent her?

Move on - if you've gotten on phone number, you can get another.
