http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0...1.LZZZZZZZ.jpg Works pretty good and really like direct connect.

Cynthetiq 08-28-2003 08:17 AM

the kind that is always set to vibrate so that I don't unknowingly annoy someone, and the kind that has a good mic so I don't have to shout into it so the other person at the other end hears me.

I have a Kyocera. I like the phone but it breaks frequently. It is not too durable. I like the new Verizon picture phone.

soxsfans 08-29-2003 05:13 PM

Verizon - Samsung flip phone.

Baldrick 08-29-2003 05:19 PM

I've owned several cel phones over the years, and the first thing I demand is that it has to be a Motorola phone. I love that they build a phone that can handle some abuse. I've even driven over my phone twice (don't ask...), and not even a scratch.

Lestat 08-29-2003 11:18 PM

Sanyo 5300 sprint camera phone. Great phone. Kinda big, but its built like a tank.

KUGR 08-30-2003 12:38 AM

Siemens S56. Best phone evar. You can only get it if you are on AT&T, Tmobile, or Cingular, but its freaking awesome.

TheClarkster 08-30-2003 01:12 AM

LG 5350, works fine thus far. And my battery doesn't die that often like MrSelfDestruct said.

Esoteric 08-30-2003 06:38 AM

Motorola T720

Great Scott 08-30-2003 08:29 AM

Nokia 7250i. Supports XHTML. Nifty little thing and they are getting better with the quality of the digital imaging. Of course where I live you MUST have a Nokia. I think it's government mandated!

Kaydron 08-30-2003 09:55 AM

have a Nokia 6610

nash 08-30-2003 10:37 AM

A 4+ year old Nokia 5100 series phone. It used to shut off "randomly" but I found out it was because the battery was loose and was losing contact with the metal contacts on the phone. I taped it up on the top and bottom (you need to cut out a piece for the speaker) and now it works fine.

peacy 08-30-2003 02:05 PM

Nokia 7650.
I'm a sw engineer, so I developed couple of applications for that nice Symbian OS...

jbrooks544 08-30-2003 03:26 PM

Cingular's Nokia 3560 - was the best "free" one they had available. color screen, polyphonic tones - great features, good reception, fairly small, etc. No camera or anything like that. You need to go to your carrier's store to see what they actually have available for free or for how much extra. Write them down and then go to epinions.com , etc. to get feedback on which ones suck vs. not suck.

I got a Sanyo picture phone (through Sprint). After rebate (and a two year contract) it was only $100. It takes decent pictures, and has a nice form factor. My wife and I both got one and we send pictures back and forth with it. It is really convenient when one of us goes and shopping and needs to get an opinion on how something looks.

StormBerlin 08-30-2003 03:52 PM

I have an N400.
It's a great phone.... And pretty cheap too. Retail they run about $150.

merkerguitars 08-30-2003 11:21 PM

old school nokia 5160...have had it for almost 4 years now and abused the hell out of it.

tikki 08-31-2003 01:53 AM

i love my Nokia 3650. Being able to record video, take pictures, and playback video on a phone is just nifty. Plus I like its unique look :)

Samsung N400 - one of Sprint's 3G Vision phones. I've had Sprint for a few months and it's been OK. I haven't had any trouble with them, but I've heard about a lot of people who have. Battery life is a down side though - I even got the extended battery and it only lasts a day if you do a lot of web surfing or games (stuff that uses the backlit screen). Still, I'm happy with it, and it's really nice to be able to get on the internet while I'm waiting to get into a restaurant or something.

blindawg 09-01-2003 02:41 PM

I have a Nextel i50.. descent phone, work foots teh bill, so even better. On the largish size nowdays, and until i go the large battery , battery life wasn't great. But the nation wide two feature is great if you have a use for it..

Ive got that same phone. Love it. Yeah, the nicest thing about it is the internet, but the battery does kinda go down pretty quick if you do a lot of internet on it, like AOL Instant Messenger.

sub zero 09-01-2003 05:42 PM

Nokia. It's getting the job done.

BulletBob 09-01-2003 06:16 PM

Motorola V60i

Here's a picture of my current phone:

https://activate.sprintpcs.com/media...50_L_56c99.gif

Sprint has not really been that good to me. Phone service is spotty and Customer Service is non-existent. Can't wait for November so that I can switch service providers while maintaining my cell number.

brandon11983 09-02-2003 11:39 AM

Panasonic EB-TX310 on U.S. Cellular. Best phone I've ever had.

cliv 09-02-2003 11:57 AM

Just upgraded from 2 two year old Motorola StarTac to an LG VX4400. I've only had the VX4400 seems for two days so I haven't had time to put it through it's paces yet, but so far I like it.

Blue 09-02-2003 12:32 PM

Clickie

there is a picture of the phone, and in the bottom right of that image, there is a 'view in 3d' click that.

I have verizon, have been pretty happy.

bulakbol master 09-02-2003 12:45 PM

Nextel i95 here.. pretty nice grad present=P

thus far I am very happy with it.. good battery life for a full colored phone I think.. around 3 days without a charge.

Moto GT rocks.. lol

Lebell 09-02-2003 07:27 PM

Older Samsung flip phone on SPRINT.

GAH, I HATE SPRINT!

Harpoi 09-02-2003 10:39 PM

I got the LG VX2000. I got it because it was free, and I didn't have a lot of money at the time.

I have a Nokia 3390 that's been doing the same fricking thing.

Wish it had more toys but it does the trick for what I 'need' right now.

CabalSoljea 09-04-2003 01:26 AM

Sony Ericsson T610!

JTC 09-04-2003 02:08 AM

I have myself a Noki 3310

Almost time for an upgrade

phredgreen 09-04-2003 02:46 AM

this is my old clunker:
http://www.cellphones.ca/images/phon...s/cdm135xl.jpg

an audiovox cdm-135xl. it's certainly due for replacement, but it works and i'm comfortable using it, so we'll see.
