Earthquake on TFP. Did anyone else just feel that?

Is everyone okay?

Me too!! I was so close to an avatar but now I feel like I am more involved in things instead of the wonderous porn!

Heh. My cable connection dropped me a few days ago while I was on TFP, and I nearly shit myself.

Funny how we're all on edge now....

The way this works (and I speak from experience) is that the site will chug along just great for a long time, long enough for us all to forget about any of this crashing stuff. Halx will probably feel like it's stable enough that making backups is optional. Then when we least expect, it... **BOOM**.

I've noticed it slows down a lot (could be my end)
And I tried to make about 5 posts late last night, but nothing happened after hitting "Submit Reply" - progress bar always stopped halfway.

I now hand transcribe each post, just so I can have them in my bunker if and when the next crash happens.

That's my biggest fear too. You're so close to 250. Why didn't you get your avatar back like some of the others BoCo? You have millions of posts on the last TFP didn't you?
