Toronto community on TFP?

Hi All,

I just stumbled onto this site (actually it was in my favorites but just re-found it:) ) Was wondering if there were many people here from T.O.? Site looks great. btw.

LaughingCow 08-09-2003 06:49 PM

I'm in Newmarket, which is somewhat close to Toronto, and I occasionally go there to do stuff.

flamingpeach 08-09-2003 07:06 PM

I just moved from Barrie to London. So I'm around too.

tenchi069 08-09-2003 08:01 PM

I'm currently in the Nashville TN area, but moving up to Hamilton next month or so ( hopefully )

sandeep 08-09-2003 08:07 PM

I'm in brampton, and i was born and lived in rexdale up until around 1996.

i'm about 15-20 minutes out of the downtown core from where i live right now.

and if i'm ever talking about where i'm from to someone from out of town, i'm from "brampton, just outside of toronto". otherwise, people have no clue what i'm talking about.

hobo 08-09-2003 08:18 PM

I'm in Guelph, not far from Toronto as well. Living in the smaller cities around Toronto is way better. It costs less and isn't all crowded.

phukraut 08-09-2003 08:24 PM

goin to Mac Tenchi069??

Othello 08-09-2003 08:31 PM

Nice to meet you guys, I'm currently in the North York are but will be moving out to Pickering in a few months.

I love Barrie, it's one of the prettiest little cities I've seen.
Always stop there on my way up to the Haliburton Highlands.

I believe TFP is about 25% Canadian. I think it's becuz so many of us came here via FARK, a nice way of saying we came via the Titty Board.

I'm originally from Rexdale (which is now *officially* part of T.O.)
too! We moved to the States when my Dad got transferred, but I still have strong ties to the Toronto area/Ontario.

Chemical 08-10-2003 08:29 AM

I'm in Mississauga. Good to meet you all.

I have noticed more Canadians here than on many other forum communities. That is cool. I don't know what FARK is. I came here from a link in another forum to a post in the Titty Board but I stayed for the other boards. I don't know why but lately I have lost interest in pr0n. I spend most of my online time reading things like the posts at this forum.

Kaos 08-10-2003 10:19 AM

I'm about 4 hours southwest of TO, in Windsor. I have family in Mississauga, and was there for a Wedding about 2 months ago.

YourNeverThere 08-10-2003 11:26 AM

im about 4 hours from TO too, in the Ottawa direction

Othello 08-10-2003 12:02 PM

I used to live in Ottawa, moved to Toronto about 7 years ago but elementry school, high school and college was all spent in Ottawa.

I2icky 08-10-2003 12:08 PM

Toronto here, more specifically in the Scarborough area

Chug 08-10-2003 02:07 PM

Scarborough was a wicked place to be. I grew up there!
Now I live in Markham, just next to Scarborough
=D

flamingpeach 08-10-2003 02:21 PM

i was hoping to see a few more Londoners. Where are you all hiding? :D

LittleOralAnnie 08-10-2003 03:50 PM

I've traveled in and near all those places that you speak of. I think it's great to see so many from the Great White North on this forum.

Toronto is such a cool place. One of these days I hope to see more sites when I head up there again.

paj 08-10-2003 04:36 PM

im in the t-dot, north york more specifically

sandeep 08-10-2003 07:22 PM

Double D, i believe i left right before it became part of Toronto, so i guess i've never really lived in TO. ;)

and i think this thread can be better summed up as "GTA community on TFP"

it's all about the "surrounding area" when it comes to toronto ;)

btw othello, welcome to TFP :)

Recoil 08-10-2003 07:36 PM

I stay in oakville but commute to toronto everyday :)

tenchi069, are you thinking about attending university in Hamilton?

Charlatan 08-11-2003 05:44 AM

I live and work in downtown Toronto but I grew up in the wilds of Scarborough (out towards the Zoo) and went to university in Ottawa...

Glad to see so many from Toronto...

Shokan 08-11-2003 06:43 AM

Brantford here. About an hour southwest.

tinfoil 08-14-2003 08:50 AM

No other S. Ontario TFP'ers around?

tenchi069 08-14-2003 11:10 AM

Double D. Though I may choose to continue my education in the future, my reason for moving there is my lovely fiance. :)

wacko 08-15-2003 06:48 AM

From Toronto here, actually the city above Toronto, Vaughan.

Just 20 minutes from downtown TO.

Hope all enjoyed the blackout last night.

icy_ca 08-15-2003 07:52 AM

I'm from Hamilton and cut my daily commute down from Toronto to Oakville, soon to be 4 blocks from my house.

I should have went downtown during the blackout. I heard it was pretty festive down there....impromtu street parties, bbq's and people just being friendly. I ended up staying in my apt cause my car was stuck in the underground parking (garage door wouldn't open).

bundy 08-17-2003 05:27 AM

well, i used to live in Bridgenorth.
but that was a long time ago.
i even went to kindergarten in Peterborough.

*edit*
wow, i can even remember that i was there when the Pope visited Canada in the early ī80s (i only remember that because his visit meant that i couldnīt see my beloved Mr Dress-Up tv program).

anyway, sorry about the trip down memory lane.

heehee 08-17-2003 10:42 AM

RIP Mr. Dress-Up :( .

james t kirk 08-17-2003 03:12 PM

I grew up in the Hammer (Hamilton) and went to McMaster too.

Best time of my life was spent there.

Now live at Bloor and Jane in Bloor West Village. Love the area, love Toronto. Don't want to live anywhere else.

Loup 08-17-2003 10:18 PM

I live in Ottawa and have family out in Toronto. However, I'm moving out to Montreal in two weeks to continue my studying.
