for those of us who havent been around pre-v.3, can u tell us how many versions of tfp there have been and what is the reason for a newer version?

well version 4 came around because there was a crash and somethin bout missing hard drives and whatnot... just became easier to make a new version then recover the 3.0... as for before that... its before my time...

i am curious as to what happened to 1 and 2, just upgrades?

Given that this is v4, I would assume that this is the fourth iteration of the TFProject. The reason for v4 was the harddrive crash back in April of this year. I don't remember the reasons for v3 and v2, though I have been around for them both.

It's been too long for my fragile brain.
