Prozac and its effects
 

I was diagnosed chronically depressive years and years ago, and they put me on the great equalizer Prozac. Since then I've gone off and on it several times in an effort to find out exactly how it affects my body and mind. The one thing I noticed above all others is how it affects my sexuality. My libido goes up, my stamina and endurance both go up, and in general I'm a much better lover on Prozac. I've heard a bunch of people say that they have negative sexual side-effects of prozac, and I was wondering if anyone out there shares my same condition.

I've been on Prozac, and Zoloft. I noticed no difference on Prozac, maybe a slight dip in my libido. Zoloft however killed my libido. When sex did happen I had trouble climaxing. My wife loved it at first but it was a bit of pain some times.

Prozac totally killered my libido.

Anti-depressants have the ironic effect of decreasing libido in many subjects. Doctors have found that you can "last longer" while on them. Your increase may be a good example of a proper diagnosis.
